Marshy
My mate has created a quick post-season FF game, more for a bit of fun if anything. The rules are as follows; From the remaining wild card/play-off teams pick, Pick 3 Kickers Pick 3 Punters Points for converted FG's and Punts by deca-yardage... 1 point per ten yards....fractional scoring counts. You can include a punter and kicker from the same team. Extra points have no value. You score from yardage only.... Example - Keading 2 FG's 45 & 42 = 87 yards (8.7) points Scifre 3 Punts 45, 32 & 41 = 118 yards (11.8 points) Has anyone done something like this before? It's based on total points, ansd once you've picked your 6 picks that's that for the rest of the season. If they all go out in the wildcard weekend, then you'll get no more points the rest of the way! I'm trying my hardest not to turn this into a 'Who do i pick!' thread, but what do you think the best way to attempt something like this would be? Chief Dick
Mate + Kickers in the same thread = you are at the wrong football forum. I think you are looking for the fantasy futbol forum.

MTSuper7
Designing a game around fantasy kickers and punters? Interesting idea, but no thanks... The playoffs are good enough for me by themselves...
twiley
Figures someone from England finds a way to put emphasis on the kicking aspect of Futbol Americano. Interesting idea nonetheless but kickers are pretty well uh...boring.
MTSuper7
In an effort to actually help you out, you could probably offer bonuses for punts downed inside the 20, FG's over 50 yds, etc.
Chief Dick
Sorry, my english got the better of me! Any serious replies? Will you be having a draft, or can you just pick whoever you want.
yo mama
I'd offer bonus for kickers and punters who record tackles. Sometimes those guys prevent a kick/punt return TD, and that's gotta be worth something.
Marshy
Will you be having a draft, or can you just pick whoever you want. No draft, you can pick whoever you want. I think around 40 people are taking part! There will just be one giant leaderboard based on total points so far. The solo tackle points are a good idea i've raised! So, for a team how would people go around assembling? I'm stuck so far.
whomper
I was in a league like this many years ago. I won hands down. My first pick was Fish and Chip Lohmiller

Chief Dick
I'd pick three teams you think have a pretty good shot at the super bowl and take their punters and kickers. Probably New England, Indy, and Dallas.

Probably New England, Indy, and Dallas. But with 40 people taking part, that's never going to win me the title. I need to rash decisions to get me there! Gostkowski would be a lock, and either Folk or Crosby for kicker.
Marshy
Kickers Josh Scobee (Jacksonville) Mason Crosby (Green Bay) Steven Gostkowski (New England) Punters Mike scifres (San Diego) Ryan Plackemeier (Seattle) Jeff Feagles (New York Giants)
