Or is it Tony Soprano?

Tony Sparano has been offered the head coaching position by the Miami Dolphins and will accept the offer at the conclusion of the Dallas Cowboys’ season, according to a source. The 46-year old Sparano is the assistant head coach for the Cowboys. He was hired at Dallas in 2003 by Bill Parcells, who promoted Sparano to assistant head coach. He was the offensive line coach, running game coordinator and play caller in 2006. Parcells was hired as the Dolphins executive vice president of football operations Dec. 20. He has already hired Jeff Ireland from the Cowboys to become Miami’s general manager. The Dolphins were 1-15 this season under first-year coach Cam Cameron, who was fired on Thursday. Sparano also interviewed Saturday with the Baltimore Ravens and interviewed Friday with the Atlanta Falcons. Sparano has also been an assistant coach with Washington, Cleveland and Jacksonville. Phone calls seeking comment from Sparano were not returned.

man you just wiped out all the Tony Soprano punchlines...

I got all anxious because I was going to be the 1st person to post in this thread and make a bad Tony Soprano joke and you completely killed my chances...

thanks a bundle..

There's a lot of room for jokes here. Tony could fly Nick Saban in for a visit.

Ricky has a new connection. :D

according to ESPN, Parcells denied that the job has been offered yet.

I don't think Miami can offer the job until Dallas is eliminated from play.

I think ESPN also said Sparano might be more interested in the Ravens job.

I haven't figured it out yet, but I think there's a Big my little buddy (as in Uncle my little buddy) joke in there somewhere.
