GWPFFL BrianW
Enough said. Not going to make excuses, LSU won this fair and square. Congratulations to the SEC, on winning the battle this year. It sucks to say, but I'll say it anyway, theres always next year.
sacosud
LSU won this game again I'll say this you can't have stupid penalties like a punch to the face and some of the other stupid penalties we had. Boeckman was forced into some dumb mistakes by the rush of the tigers. I'm suprised slightly that Henton did not get any snaps at all witn Boeckman struggling. Beanie played lights out and if anything my hope is that maybe keeps Jenkins, Boone, Robo,Gholston to stay. Gholston would be stupid to stay, but you can hope. Lsu had a great game plane knowing OSU would be aggressive and really it's the only way they could have gone. Congrats to Pelini and Miles. GO BUCKS. I remember after LSU's first penalty I saw that OSU already had 4 (for like 50 yards). Those can be game-changers. OSU's D is wicked but LSU was able to spread the field out a bit to avoid running against that brick wall of a D. Gholston is a freakin' beast of epic proportions. Great game that's for sure. Bonedaddies
OSU made pentalies at critical times, early in the game they had the momentum and gave LSU 30 plus yards and allowed them to score...then the ruffing the kicker...that was a back-breaker. It would have been an interesting game minus a few OSU errors.

theeohiostate
Well, just stopped back at the hotel before heading to Bourbon Street to drink my sorrows. LSU rocked the stadium, but the OSU fans held their own for as long as we could. It was about a 70-30 split and we reprensented our school as well as any has done in this stadium........so i was told. The LSU fans have been GREAT to us All the horror stories Rocker would have like me to believe were just silly. These people know how to party and win with class.........THANKS. As for the game, once again we got to a hot start only to be destroyed. Big penalties at horrible times cost us much needed momentum. It was all down hill after the blocked FG attempt. We had are shots to win the game but penalties and good defense from LSU took it away. LSU is a solid team and all the congrats from us Buckeye fans to you is in order. Congrats to all the Tiger supporters and as for my bets with wildcats, slayer and sirloins...........I get with you guys Wednesday night when i get back in town. Congrats on your financial rewards. Make it clear, OSU has no excuses for this loss, we had our chances and didn't connect. The LSU defense played one of it's better games of the season and Flynn had his best game all year, not stats wise, but he threw the ball very well and managed the offense. TOS is out Geuax Tigers

darin3
My hotel is 2 blocks from the stadium and we left with 3 minutes to play Just messin' with ya, man. Figured you hit up your hotel en route from the S-dome to Bourbon, and confirmed by Sarge. Enjoy yourselves. I honestly wish I was there but I had to forgo the trip since we'll be there for Mardi Gras. Awesome game, and of course I love the outcome, but would have been satisfied nonetheless. Sgt. Ryan
TOS did as well with his excuses as the Buckeyes did on the field Monday night…and that’s a surprise. Just go the F away. Seriously you chickensh*t, just go away. From what I hear you are a pathetic POS that has no class, as you show by every post, and OSU would pummel your F'n ass into the ground if you had the nuts to spew anthing similar to your normal crap in this mans face. you are an embarassment to LSU, the state and college football. And Id bet my last dollar you are unemployed and live in a trailer park with your momma, and this is the only place you are not a victim in life. Guess what dude, you are a victim here, and its just like the rest of your life, you are a f'n loser.
Sgt. Ryan
BTW, Congrats to the real fans of LSU. In a year where there was no dominant team, they won the last game that mattered.

KevinL
Congrats to LSU. I listened to the first 10 minutes and then watched the 2nd half so I missed the blocked FG and most of LSU's scoring. Football is a game of inches, and OSU's special teams mistakes really were costly. Take away the blocked FG and the roughing the kicker penalty and we now have a 7 point game, where OSU doesn't have to go for it on 4th and long from midfield with 5 minutes to play, LSU doesn't get the short field. I'm not trying to say that OSU should have won, but that a few plays made a hugh difference in the game.
Sir Loins of Beef
Never thought this conference thing was a big deal for I mostly cared school to school but watching the game last night in a smoked filled tavern and to have Gator fans jumping up and down for LSU was quite amusing--I just don't get how you can back a team any other week you would hate and despise. As for the game thought OSU got away from attacking on their third and fourth offensive series and the LSU cornerbacks shutdown the outside receivers causing the OSU offense to flow to the middle of the field negating the half the field. Didn't think LSU had any more speed than OSU but they won the line of scrimmage and LSU's offense used the I formation alot in the second half causing the clock to shrink and the OSU defense to stay on the field

detlef
With all due respect... While I'm not going to defend Rockerbraves, TOSU was about as insufferable as can be leading up to this game and referenced how the SEC would be exposed "once OSU punks LSU on Monday" about 100 times. Now, props to him for manning up right after the game but I hardly think it's the end of the world for him to catch some flack despite this. I mean, does one humble post make up for basically an entire year's worth of running of the mouth? I mean, we had to endure the same crap leading up to last year's NC game and that beat down apparently wasn't enough to buy us some humility and perspective leading up to this one. Well, at least it did from the rest of the OSU crowd here, props to them for realizing that OSU needed to show something before they peed themselves over how great they were. I can assure you that if OSU is in the mix next December, it's going to be the same all over again from this guy. Thus, I can't see why TOSU shouldn't be subject to some pretty heavy hazing right now. There needs to be consequences for spouting off like he has and having it thrown in your face when your team doesn't deliver is pretty much par for the course. Notice that the other OSU homers, the ones who haven't acted like jerk-offs for the last month aren't being given a rash of chight. I'll give OSU this. They looked like a very talented and physical team last night but just managed to get the wrong end of the breaks. As has been said, a few things go differently and it's a whole different game. Cameltosis
Congrats to the Tigers. They certainly made the plays when they needed to and didnt shoot themselves in the foot. Flynn played a great game and the difference between his performance and Boekmans was the difference in the game. When LSU needed a play he made it. When OSU needed a play they couldnt get the job done. I have to admit coming into this game I wasnt worried about him at all. He stepped up and proved me wrong. IMO the biggest difference in the game last night had to be special teams. 1. LSU recovers their own punt return fumble early in the game. 2. LSU punter had two plus 60 yard kicks 3. Roughing the kicker call on a 4th and a mile to go 4. LSU block 30+ yard FG.

SEC football is like a religion here in the south. We each of us root for our own teams with rabid devotion. However, when any SEC team plays any out of conference game, we all root for that SEC team to win.
