This is the Saturday night Playoff game.

No one is giving the Jags a chance.

The Patriots went 16-0.

The Jags are a small market team who got lucky.

This game shouldn't be close, and Tom Brady is the best QB playing football right now.

Who is the pressure on?

NE has to win to validate their season. Jax is just happy to be there.

Jax is a young, hungry team who doesn't know any better. NE is full of cagey old vets who want one more Ring.

You know what happens? The Jags are gonna be a lot more violent than NE is gonna be ready for.

The Jags will come out swinging, and will not quit til the whistle blows and the score is 48-17. Jags will win in a route and DESTROY the best team in the NFL, the New England Patriots.

I picked the Jags to play the Packers in the SB, and if that means they have to go to NE and beat them, then thats what I am picking. Jags 24, NE 21

Cool, how to stick to your guns. I think it will be a great game but the Pats Def will key on the run and Brady will pick apart the Jags secondary in a 2TD win for the Pats 31-17. Any word on if Henderson is playing? He could be a key factor for the Jags.

Patriots had 2 weeks to prepare. They'll win.

I do expect the Pats to lose to the Colts/Chargers winner though.

I've been wrong many times in my life. Could just be another one.

OK, anybody who says they expect the Pats to lose at any point needs to explain themselves. Whereas they certainly could lose, and very well might lose to Jacksonville or the Indy/SD winner, how can anyone expect them to lose? I just don't get it. :D

I've been saying for weeks there is only two teams that can beat the Pats........the Jags and Colts. After the playoffs were announced I picked the Jags to win this game, but I'll be honest.....it's more of what I want to happen, then what probably WILL happen. NE has a long home winning streak in the playoffs right now.

And for what it's worth, here's what I expect:

Jacksonville does come out swinging, maybe even takes a lead going into half time. But as usual, the Patriots' D will come up with a big turnover in the 4th quarter, and Brady will hit Moss (maybe Welker) for the game clinching TD. I could see the half time score something like 17-14, Jacksonville. Final score: 34-24, Pats.

I've got money down on Jax and the points and I'm going to drop a bit more on the money line once the website I uses releases one.

Now, I hardly share H8tanks opinion that Jax is going to win going away, however, I like them for the following reasons:

Jax has shown they can play in the cold.

Jax pounds the rock and the teams who have had the best success against the Pats this year did so with strong running games. I mean, it's not like Balt was able to run because NE was worried about Boller. So, it has been shown that if you line up and say, "We're going to run" you can still do so against NE.

Lastly, their D is solid and they hit people. The teams that outplayed NE this year did so because they hit people.

Now, I'm more certain that they'll keep it close than outright win the game which is why I have more money on the spread than the moneyline. However, I like their chances more than most it seems.

So did Pitt, 4-0 home wild card games.

Excuse me, I mean 4-1. :D

Yeah, but I'd say a team that is 16-0 and riding on a 9 game home win streak in the playoffs is not even comparable. :D
