chinatown dragons
I moved out of Mansfield a little over 2 years ago. I need to head down for some Cheng Du!Edit: One of these years we should talk about getting a Hub FFL for Boston area Huddlers. Too funny, Nick....We go to Cheng Du all the time...!! Matter of fact, neighbor and I went up there after the Pats/Chargers game for a celebratory Mai Tai and to watch Packers/Giants game.... here's hoping we are visiting it again this Sunday for a celebratory cocktail! How far away from the Tweet can you hear concerts?? yes on a warm summer night, if i'm on my back deck, can hear some of the music...can't make out the songs......live about 1 1/2 miles from Tweeter.... Caveman_Nick
Well this thread took a boring turn. Had you ever eaten at Cheng Du, you would not thing so. The Mongolian Beef is particularly good.

I always get my food from Amazing Wok. Best lo mein in Albany. A PF Changs just opened up in Colonie Center, but I would never wait that long for food. chinatown dragons
alright...got off track....sorry, just responding to questions asked to me... My work is based out of Pittsburgh, and was talking to co workers in the office there today, who are rooting against the Patriots....again, it isnt so much they are rooting FOR the Giants, but rooting AGAINST the Patriots...I asked why...they said couple of reasons.... 1) dont want to see a team go 19 and 0 and have a 'perfect season' unless it is their team (in this case, the Steelers) 2) they agree that they have respect for the Pats, and in particular, Brady, but dislike Belichick so much that they want the Pats to lose.... outside of New England (and even IN New England) dont think that Coach Bill is well liked...but, having read Tedy Brushchi's book, Never Give Up, he is well respected and thought of by the players....... enuff hype; let's get the game going! forever in debt to mo lewis
my major experiences in CT are either the northern NY area(Greenwich etc) that's full of rich snobs like you said. Or Hartford, which is, well, Hartford. Or the casino area, which for the residents is just a crap hole (the actual towns in and around foxwoods and mohegan) with abandoned buildings and unemployment all over the place, etc. I'm sure there are perfectly fine areas of CT, I just haven't been exposed to them... i live about 15 minutes from foxwoods...but i live in rhode island...on the water...and i agree...the areas around foxwoods, in connecticut, are sh1tholes....towns like ledyard, montville, griswold..and the little city of norwich....just bad....i have friends from other parts of CT, like wilton, which is a decent area....overall...im not a fan of CT...and everyone knows how horrible the traffic can be
BumpNRun
None of that stuff exists here in Florida....... ...and you really don't get a chance to speak to your neighbor, cause they probably speak another language or can't hear...there's no real problems with traffic.....we dont have a housing problem, homes are very afforadable....jobs are easy to find.....crime is at any all time low....not much, if anything ever exciting happens here, and we are never in the news......all around cost of living is in scale......we don't have to fear many natural disasters......which never give us extra insurance to pay for.....we don't have to worry about any other season but...SUMMER........... ...Oh, thats the price you pay to live in Paradise..... I hate the PATS cause....They ruined Our "Perfect Season"......
