Cunning Runt
Wow. I guess I'm in the minority here, but that show was about as blah as you could get IMO. To each their own I guess.
Vet
Wow. I guess I'm in the minority here, but that show was about as blah as you could get IMO. To each their own I guess. Agree. They don't put on much of a show. They sounded good, but that was pretty boring. At least there was no "wardrobe malfunction", I'd hate to see any part of those old geezers' bodies uncovered. jaxfactor
In my opinion, your opinion isn't worth a damn.Maybe if we'd have seen Big Ben throwing down Refugee it would have been better.
piratesownninjas
Agree. They don't put on much of a show. They sounded good, but that was pretty boring. Yeah, they were too busy practicing there craft of making timeless music than to work on there dance steps. The music is the show.
Chargerz
Tom Petty isn't the consummate showman, but the music was GREAT!

Lonestar39
There needs to be a clause somewhere that the band performing during halftime shows cannot have a member over 40 years of age in it's lineup. Of course the only exception would be Van Halen with Diamond Dave !
'canes2004
There needs to be a clause somewhere that the band performing during halftime shows cannot have a member over 40 years of age in it's lineup. Of course the only exception would be Van Halen with Diamond Dave ! But then your left with some crappy new rock band like Stained or Nickleback or a stage full of lip syncing pop stars. No thanks. I'll take the old guys. Maybe Zep for '09.
