Orlando Pace at 80%

Rams LT Orlando Pace (torn labrum/rotator cuff) has regained 80% of the strength in his shoulder and should be ready for some spring work.

Marc Bulger needs his blind side protector back 100% in 2008, so this is a great sign. Other Rams starting linemen who should take part in OTAs include RG Richie Incognito (kneecap) and LG Mark Setterstrom (ACL tear).

As of this point in time I could care less what is said or speculated about Pace. The guy can't stay on the field, plain and simple. The Rams need to think about a new anchor for that line. They absolutely can't count on Pace for any future production as far as I am concerned.

Unfortunately, I agree. They've gone from having arguably the best line in the NFL back in '99 to perhaps the worst.

Jake Long, anyone?

Could you imagine Long at Left tackle and move Pace to RT? If Jackson gets to run behind Jake Long, it's going to be scary.

Yeah, at least Bulger would be able to see that fat roly poly crumble to the ground with his season ending injury this time.

Pace will only be 33 which is not ancient for an OT but he has only played in 9 games over the last two years. Seems like he hit some wall at the age of 30 for staying healthy.
