Ring Bologna

I want to make some ring bologna for my wife. Any thoughts on the best way to cook it?

 

I'm thinking of just cutting it into chunks and frying it up with some peppers and onions. :wacko:

Cook it? :D

 

Slice it into checker sized pieces, butter 2 slices of bread, place 5 pieces on the bread - eat, repeat.

Well, without any guidance, I sliced the ring bologna into 1/2" coins. Sliced up a red and a green pepper. Diced half an onion. Then I just fried it all up in a little bit of EVOO. Served it over white rice. Really very tasty... but gave us all some funky gas all night long! :wacko:

Gee..onion, peppers, and bologna. Can't see why that would disagree with the digestive tract. :D

SB, sorry about that....... i haven't had bologne since i was 10 and it was on sandwiches. never really have seen anything done with it on a culianry level...even on italian meat and cheese plates, different meats are used.
