Shotgun Messiahs
Sounds weird. Friend of mine told me that he heard on the radio today that Chad Johnson might be coming to Dallas for Roy Williams and a 1st round pick. Since I got home from the Mavericks game, I can't find anything to confirm this. Anybody else heard of this? On a side note. Brandon Roy for the Trail Blazers is an awesome kid to watch play. piratesownninjas
I just don't see it happening. Last week, a local radio personality, Randy Galloway started saying something along those lines... Galloway is a blowhard and rumors are they he's about to be off the air soon anyways. I wouldn't put much stock into it. I do however think it would be interesting to see how two diva's like TO and 85 would co-exist, and for how long. Scourge
It would never happen as long as T.O. is there.
CarryTheRock
I heard it a few weeks ago as speculation. I wouldn't look into it any more than any other team right now.
whomper
As far as major distraction insubordinate behavior goes for the most part T.O was pretty well behaved last year. I dont think all the luck in the world could create an environment where T.O and Chad would behave for a full year. Talent wise I would love it as we really need a solid 2 wr but he could never co-exist with T.O
Bronco Billy
I'd pay some pretty good jack for a pay-per-view of a b!atch slap fight between T.O. & CJ.
The Irish Doggy
This kind of thing will never happen in the current NFL. Remember the rumors of TO and Moss in Oakland a couple years back? No team has the cap room for two top-tier WRs.
kpholmes
It would never happen as long as T.O. is there. Agreed. They can't both be happy unless the Boys officially abandon the run game.
Hat Trick
I'd pay some pretty good jack for a pay-per-view of a b!atch slap fight between T.O. & CJ. Eh, wouldn't be much of a fight, TO would clock him and or Chad would dunk under and curl up into a ball.
whomper
I'd pay some pretty good jack for a pay-per-view of a b!atch slap fight between T.O. & CJ. I think T.O might take him. Who did he beat up in Philly that time ?
Belushi
I still don't understand all the trade talk. Why would Cincy take an $8 mill. cap hit just to move him? He's not going anywhere.
Bill Swerski
I imagine that Dallas might be inclined to release T.O. if this were to happen, and go with Chad and Crayton over the long-term. T.O. still has some gas left in the tank, but he's can't beat CBs in single-coverage like he used to.

Agreed than an $8 million cap hit is a lot. But if Cincy decides to rebuild this season and they have the cap room to absorb it, it might be in their best interest over the long term. Sturphy
What if they traded CJ... FOR T.O.?
McNasty
I think T.O might take him. Who did he beat up in Philly that time ? Trotter got on him in an elevator at the Nova complex, after TO started talking smack on McNabb in the media. No real fight, but that's the closest thing I can remember. No real fight, but that's the closest thing I can remember. There was an altercation in the locker room with TO and a defensive player... I can't remember who it was off the top of his head. I want to say that he used to play in Jacksonville...
JoJoTheWebToedBoy
Wait a minute..... I am pretty sure that putting them on the same team would cause A Tear in the Space-Time Continuum. And that can't be good....
isleseeya
way too much ego to have both of those guys on the same team honestly as attractive as it sounds initially i do not believe it would work long term ..Romo's head would be spinning listening to both of those guys bark about not getting ball enough

Seahawks21
How many teams is this that Chad Johnson is supposedly playing for now?? My money is on him ending up in Cinci, but if he were to go somewhere else, I have a feeling that this is going to be one of those situations where you don't hear about a trade until it is done. The rumors may actually evolve into a self-fulfilling prophecy. IF they persist long enough, regardless of whether or not there is ANY truth to them, Ocho could reach the point where he demands to be traded or sit out if he is not. It has got to be tiring to constantly hear this talk if you are the player.
