(AP) -The Arizona Cardinals have placed the franchise tag on linebacker Karlos Dansby. The move prevents Dansby from becoming a free agent, but guarantees him a salary of just over $8 million. Dansby led the Cardinals in tackles last season with 117 despite missing two games. He also had 3 1/2 sacks, three interceptions and four forced fumbles.
