WaterMan
How'd the Super Bowl work out for ya, WaterTool? Moss got his records. Patriots lost their own.
Ursa Majoris
Vikings. TE's are "supposed to be" important to this type of offense in Minnesota. Shianco obviously just isn't getting it done. Heck of a cap hit for Minny if they dump Shiancoe, I think.
darin3
Moss got his records. Patriots lost their own. So it's all about records. I wonder what kind of records Vick is setting right now. Best soap drop. Best imitation of a woman. Best mashed potatoes.
Savage Beatings
Heck of a cap hit for Minny if they dump Shiancoe, I think. Hmmmmm, maybe keep Shiancoe and dump Kleinsasser then? I honestly don't know what any of their contracts look like.
Sturphy
Hmmmmm, maybe keep Shiancoe and dump Kleinsasser then? I honestly don't know what any of their contracts look like. Shiancoe was widely regarded as a colossal overpay. He was one of the first contracts in free agency last year and the first to benefit from the free spending movement last season. As a result of the much higher cap.
BillyBalata
Heck of a cap hit for Minny if they dump Shiancoe, I think. Most of his contract/money was front-loaded. Last year's cap number for Shiancoe was 8.1. This year only 2.1. mill.
budlitebrad
I think any team running the WCO (SEA, MIN, GB) would be making a move for this guy.

Hmmmm. Not such a bad option then. I couldn't believe Childress forked over all that dough for a second string guy no-one had heard of. Crumpler would be a hugh upgrade. Sturphy
Alge...you'd look might good in a Seahawks uniform...OH YEAH!!!! There is a rich Crumpler tradition in Seattle. How awesome is the name "Carlester Crumpler" by the way. Classic.
WaterMan
10 years before the Falcons see another playoff game.

He'll be expensive, has durability issues and from what I remember can be a locker room problem. TT builds through the draft.

TT builds through the draft. Expensive? May be. He's had virtually no injury history until this year and his locker room issues were related to his dislike for Petrino. Can't fault him for that, can you?
gsmayes
I guess I'll have to be the first to say this...but Crumpler is overrated. He had a few years with nice stat lines because he was the *only* guy Vick would or could throw to. He drops the ball way too much.

Solid TE, not Gates but read up some. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/5482/c...6aa.Z42zpj.uLYF
clickclack
I think he would do extremely well in Seattle...Lord knows they could use a TE with good hands to stretch the field and take some pressure of their lack of a run game...... bushwacked
Alge...you'd look might good in a Seahawks uniform...OH YEAH!!!! Atlanta saved very little against the cap by cutting him and there is a lot of buzz about his injuries being rather serious. He looked like a slow fatty last year when I watched him play. My enthusiasm is tempered.
Patsfan39
They make a deal for Shockey. They have two seconds, maybe package one of them with Warrick Dunn or Keith Brooking.
HowboutthemCowboys
They make a deal for Shockey. They have two seconds, maybe package one of them with Warrick Dunn or Keith Brooking. Not saying they won't try for Shockey, but why on earth would NYG want Dunn?

He's had virtually no injury history until this year and his locker room issues were related to his dislike for Petrino. Can't fault him for that, can you? I can't. The guy is huge with good hands. He didn't work out a lot last year(was out of shape) but I give everyone a pass after the Vick/Petrino debacle. If healthy he is a top performer. bushwacked
but I give everyone a pass after the Vick/Petrino debacle. Roddy White had 1200+ yards and a half a dozen TDs.
Swampnuts
Front page article in Charlotte Observer's sports section today. Sounds like the Panthers may want to talk to Alge after Monday's waiver announcements. He's been a major pain in the azz for the Panthers in the past, so to steal him from the Falcons would be sweet. Jeff KIng had a nice year as the starter, and I'd really rather see them address WR, DE, and OL first. But if they could get him for the right price I'd say go for it. I know Crumpler and Julius Peppers are really close friends and Crumpler is from Greenville and played for UNC.
