Wish they could have gotten a long term deal, that's a big cap hit. DT, RB, and TE help looks to come through the draft unless there are any creative accounting maneuvers to come. Yeah, isn't the franchise cap figure for a CB something like $9.4 million? That's something like a million more than the hit for a WR. Trufant went back to his original position with Mora coaching and became an pseudo shut down corner last year. We shall see as Kicker Josh Brown was the only other Franchise Option. He's gonna be even more sought after now. Interesting, especially as an Eagles' fan with all the weird scuttlebutt about Lito being allowed to look for another deal, and then the team denying that rumor.
