fingfootball
http://www.kcchiefs.com/news/2008/02/26/ch...eddie_kennison/ Been with us so long I almost hate to see him go.

Bill Swerski
Kennison is in his mid-30's and he's a speed guy. Can't say I blame them.
fingfootball
Kennison is in his mid-30's and he's a speed guy. Can't say I blame them. Me either, but knowing Carl Peterson I don't think he will do better. Hope I'm wrong. Maybe we will get Randy Moss! Pancake
KP I see your icon is Desean Jackson. You hoping that KC drafts this guy? I've been to a couple Cal games and this guy is electrifying. He can really move in the open field and can make the circus catch but not too confident that he can take a hit. Pretty sure KP is a Raiders fan and therefore would probably be crushed if the Chiefs drafted any Cal Bears. Did I beat Big John to this revelation? LooGie
You cannot tell me the VETEREN Eddie is a liability on this team, with a young QB and probably a few young WR's coming to town!?! I wish I knew how many times I've said this, but Herm was the absolute worst move the Chiefs have ever made. He did squat in NYJ, but somehow, he convinces everyone else, that its EVERYONE ELSE'S fault. I dont know how he does it. He must be one helluva salesman, because everyone with brass, buys what he shovels. From letting Larry sit around, to letting Priest hang around, he's nothing but mistake after mistake, and nobody EVER calls him out on it. He must be like Jafar on Aladin, with a hypnotizing scepter or something.

Riffraff
I think it was a forgone conclusion that Kennison got released. Between hamstring and shoulder injuries, he was able to play in only eight games last season. He caught just 13 passes for 101 yards. I guess we will just have to "Get over it".
juanruiz13
What do the Chiefs homers think of Jeff Webb?
RC94
Berrian would be a pretty good compliment to Bowe.
Chief Dick
Seriously, Kennison was on his way down. This move shouldn't surprise anyone. And I liked Kennison. I'm glad to see the Chiefs actually making the moves to finally rebuild. About F'n time.
Flypaste
Maybe Herm will use one of those ten picks to keep Jordy Nelson in the state.

They won't take him at 1.04, and he won't fall past Oakland in the second.
piratesownninjas
You cannot tell me the VETEREN Eddie is a liability on this team, with a young QB and probably a few young WR's coming to town!?! He's 35 and a shell of his former self, which wasn't amazing to begin with. It's a youth movement. He's nowhere near youth.

muck
Who are the pretty fast (or really fast) FA WRs? Bernard Berrian Jerry Porter Donte Stallworth ...anyone else? I'm fine with Berrian or Porter. Stallworth = meh
McBoog
Taking it up a level, who are they going to get to replace Charlie Joiner? He seemed to get a lot out of very little and Bowe apparently liked him a lot. Herm doesn't seem to worry too much about the pasing game, but still, you need a good coach at the position to keep those crazy WR types from running amuck! KSUChiefsTarheelFan
If they can't figure out a way to protect the QB who is now Croyle, then a good FA WR will be an after thought. Not to mention that running game that we don't have anymore. Damn you Will Shields!

There's no reason to not have a veteren WR as a #3 to help bring the QB along, and future WR's. Especially Eddie, who has a leadership presence. Maybe I'm just blinded by Herm. I usually criticize him. But then again, he usually deserves it.

Herm isn't so much the problem as Carl Peterson is though. Kennison gone.....well he was consistent for us, but he's done, I'm happy to see him go. Need another top WR on the other side of Bowe and Kennison is far from it. He can;t stay healthy anymore and they need to get younger on the whole offensive side of the ball. Hat Trick
What do the Chiefs homers think of Jeff Webb? Not much. Speed guy with not so great hands, can't run crips routes. He's a decent #4 or cut material. I could be wrong, but he's shown me nothing thus far to show he hass the talent to compete at this level. Promptly pulling his hamstring on the first play ofo the season. You see what he accomplished. He's done!
