according to vikings.com:

Tapeh Agrees to Terms

2/29/2008

Free agent fullback Thomas Tapeh has agreed to terms with the Minnesota Vikings. Tapeh, a Twin Cities product who attended St. Paul Johnson High and played football at the University of Minnesota, was a fifth-round draft choice of the Eagles in 2004.

Don't get me wrong, Gibril is a great player and I've always noticed him in the Giants backfield... but Al Davis is just throwing money away with him and Kelly. In addition to that I can guarantee you Al and Rob Ryan are doing this behind Kiffin's back.

On the other hand, Raiders are a team with offensive needs, so to see some not as necessary holes being filled on defense could be a pretty good indication they are going to draft heavy on the offensive side of the ball.

I'm shocked every time Al Davis makes a move... Firing a coach one year in, trying to fire another, then leaving him out of all the decisions... Giving the biggest contract ever to a DT that is at best a pretty good player, then overpaying yet again at safety... It's insane that he's spent 90 million on these guys...

Yea... I'm not going to say either of his FA moves so far have shocked me...

Al Davis stopped shocking Raider fans a long time ago...

I think at this point though the rest of the league is finally realizing how crazy he really is.

(KFFL) Tom Kowalski, of mlive.com, reports the trade between the Detroit Lions and Cincinnati Bengals sending DL Shaun Rogers to the Bengals in exchange for third- and fifth-round choices in this year's draft has not yet been finalized. Citing a source close to the situation, Kowalski also reports another unidentified team is ready to make an offer for Rogers if the deal with Cincinnati does not get finalized.

Probably Raiders trying to replace Sapp...

Edit: Nevermind, looks like a done deal. Link
