dirtdickens
I really like the idea of picking low and getting two top WR in the first two rounds this year. Aside from Moss in round one anyone else considering anyone? TO? Second rounders(in my personal order) TO Edwards Fitz Welker A. Johnson Burress CJ Housh S.Smith ? What say you? Uncle Wiggy
I'll assume you forgot about Reggie Wayne. I think Steve Smith will fall into the 3rd round. In a PPR, Welker and Housh should be in the 2nd round. If not PPR, I would have both of them in the 3rd - I know TJ was a beast for 10-11 games last year, but he disappeared in the last 5-6 games. I can't see him scoring TDs as consistently as he did last year. Just a hunch. ...and for the record, I think a healthy AJ will finish only behind Moss, if anyone. I can easily see the torch being passed from Moss and TO to AJ and Edwards this year.
dirtdickens
Yes, I did forget Wayne. Good call. I play in PPR leagues and I guess I deleted that in my sig. I think Johnson and Edwards have huge years, but not like TO and Moss.
Randall
I've never seen a team win picking WR/WR. Maybe in free league, but not in competetive ones. This year there are a lot of top 15 WR. I would go RB/RB. I know that isn't what you are asking but rank your top 15.
dirtdickens
I am normally the guy that is all RB all the time, but I think this year things may change in terms of production. I really think this is a year where if things stay the same as they were last season a WR/WR could pan out. If I went high I would obviously take LT or AD and come back around with Manning and a top WR, but odds are I will be picking later in the draft and I like the thought of having Moss and TO/A.Johnson better than getting two RBs I don't like. Avernus
it wouldn't be crazy to draft Brady and Moss in the 1st 2 rounds... normally I'd laugh at the idea...but I think those 2 are unstoppable in the regular season for the 1st 8-12 weeks until it starts getting cold and windy.... draft these 2 and then trade around week 9....can't lose.. OK. I don't but I would take Moss if you can get him. Other than him I may take Wayne if Harrison isn't truly back and possibly Colston because of his 2nd half last year. Also Fitz B Edwards B Marshall Andre Johnson is healthy could be decent as well.
TDFFFreak
You can take your WR/WR in the first two rounds. For me? No thanks. I may take a WR in the first 2 rounds, but I will be snagging a RB with one of my first 2 picks. Too often I've seen that strategy fail, where getting at least 1 RB pays dividends more often. That said, this year it will be increasingly tempting and logical to draft a WR in the 1st or 2nd round.
Guest Chappy
Housh never gets any love. He's a great value, especially in a PPR league. This past year he was tied as the 5th highest scoring WR at just a fraction over 300 points. Other than Moss, Housh was 15 points away from being the 2nd best WR in the league. Reggie Wayne was 2nd and Brandon Marshall was 9th. And if Andre Johnson could only stay healthy, he'd be right at the top of the list just below Moss in terms of avg pts per game. Basically if you don't get Moss, you'll be okay if you can get your hands on one of the guys from this list; Wayne, A. Johnson, Owens, Edwards, Fitz, Housh, Chad Johnson, Colston, B. Marshall and Welker. Then there was a pretty sizeable drop-off. So if you don't get Brady or Moss in the first round, then just grab a RB and one of these guys and you'd be off to a solid start. Yeah sure you can try to get tricky and grab two of these WRs and then hope to find value at the RB spot in rounds 3 and 4 and then grab a QB in 5 or best avail. RB/WR. Lots of ways to go. TO? Second rounders(in my personal order) TO Edwards Fitz Welker A. Johnson Burress CJ Housh S.Smith ? What say you? Brandon Marshall needs to be in the top 10. He put up 102 receptions 1325 yards and 7 touchdowns in just his second year with a quarterback who was also just in his second year. He's a monster at 6'4 230. Tell you the truth, I see him potentially jumping into the top 6.

dirtdickens
TO at 16? The guy may be an ass, but he has the ability to score 4 tds in a game. He has to be in the top 5.

BumpNRun
In our money league , both guys that went to the champ. went WR 1 & 2. Quite tempting... Im sticking with RB, but you have to consider a lot of FF teams were killed with that strat. Example. I went RB/RB and then Ronnie Brown was sitting at my 3rd pick...I took em....My first two were FWP, Travis Henry..Really, it was great till the injury bug hit. I had to trade to get a top WR in Fitz...

He burned me too many times. This year there are too many good WR's to take 2 early. I agree with Avernus, Brady and Moss early may be worthwhile, I just don't see taking 2 WR's early. Guest Chappy
You know it's amazing how last year Steve Smith and Chad Johnson were considered by most the #1 and 2 WRs to be taken and neither are even close to being mentioned there by most this year. Boy how things/situations change.

dirtdickens
I got laughed at on this board for taking TO as the first WR. Everyone was so high on Smith and Chad. I figured TO kept his mouth shut to that point and had a lot of help around him. Worked out great for me in the long run.
