ROYALWITCHEESE
Wonder how much it cost him to stay out of trouble? How did I know someone would stoop down? To be expected from a Raiders fan, I guess. Could it be because she had no case? Edited March 11, 2008 by ROYALWITCHEESE

Could be... Or could be she got handed a nice size check.

They said on ESPN this morning that Randy admitted and "accident", but never refused her medical attention like she stated. Take that for what it's worth, but it sounds like there was wrong doing! Patriots
Wouldn't it be considered extorion if you are willing to drop your case against someone in return for money?

Would you expect to get sued over that?

Would you expect to get sued over that? Apparently you don't know how our legal system works!!!!!!! For example, you are doing some work in your yard and you have a big hole dug, and you surround the hole with caution tape. Neighbor walks over and falls into hole and gets hurt. Not your fault, right? Wrong. You knew it was dangerous because you put caution tape around it (sounds really stupid doesn't it). He can sue and most likely will win money. Not necessarily from you, but from your insurance company. In the end, we all pay. Now, I'm sure you are like me and say, how the hell can this be??? Well, let's thank our lawyers for that. That may be true, but I still wouldn't consider that 'wrong doing'. But maybe it's just me.

Czarina
She had originally asked for a settlement of $100,000 which is why the whole thing ended up going public because he refused to agree to it. The injury was said to be to a finger.
