Cowboyz1
After watching both careers of Brown and Williams it looks like Brown has the edge as the better back by measure of durability but Williams has more then held his own when healthy. They proved In college football, for at least at Auburn that two NFL caliber backs , CAN come into the NFL and start while being co-backs in college and one getting labeled the starter and the other backup. That said, which back is better in the Razoback backfield. I have seen and heard all the hype about Darren McFadden's speed and all but I have to agree with many skeptics who point to his lack of leg drive, fumbles and going down like Julius Jones when hit. Not to mention his hands are not the best. So is he the best back or is Felix Jones the kid who will shine at the next level? I like the kids running style, he's not slow and has good hands. Moreover, I want to ask McFadden what he did with that bird? You know the one he got those legs from. Seeings I'm a Boys fan, it looks more and more like we will ship one Jones out for a younger model from Arkansas. Any thoughts on keeping up with the Jones's. peepinmofo
Caddy Williams and Ronnie Brown... Youre comparing them to McFadden and Jones? Maybe at the college level, but cmon dude... Caddy had a great rookie year, but whats he donme outside that? Ronnie Brown started playing really well last year, but that last about 3 games. Will he even be back to near the same level? I wouldnt say that is a duo to be feared in the pros. Good? Maybe, but nothing to brag about. Just my
Randall
Scouts get paid a lot of money trying to project players to the NFL. McFadden has character issues too. I haven't seen enough of Jones to tell, but like Mendenhall and Stewart better anyway.

Just my Tough to compare two guys who have played 2 seasons in the Pros to two guys who have not yet played a down in the NFL......yes, Jones and McFadden have god given talent, and will be selected in the first round.......But, how can one project what impact they will have....Lot will be based on what team they end up on...how they are utilized.....how durable they are, etc..... Until he got hurt, Ronnie Brown was putting together one heck of a season, on the WORST team in the league......With Parcells in control, I look for Ronnie to bounce back and be a major contributor....... Felix Jones will start out as a change of pace back for Marion Barber (they shipped Julius Jones out for some reason....)......Mock drafts have McFadde going to the Raiders....the Jets....both of which who could use a back.......if he goes to the Raiders, he has benefit of having Fargas, who played well last year..
