Guest Chappy
http://blogs.chron.com/nfl/2008/03/im_exci...s_rbs_fi_1.html Texans High On Taylor The Texans are apparently "really high" on RB Chris Taylor. It's being reported that with Taylor in the fold, the team may not feel the need to use a high draft pick on a running back in this year's draft. Taylor could have value as a handcuff if he wins a backup job, but he is no more than waiver-wire fodder going into the season. | March 12, 2008 10:22 AM ------------------------------------ http://www.azcentral.com/members/Blog/KentSomers/ Boldin Part Of Trade Rumors Despite new rumors that teams will set their sites on trading for Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin, the Arizona Republic doesn't think it will happen. The rumors come a day after WR Larry Fitzgerald and the team agreed to a new deal on Tuesday. Boldin will now make a lot less than Fitzgerald and it is believed his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, will lobby for a new deal. We will keep owners updated as more information comes out. | March 12, 2008 11:40 AM ------------------------------------ http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar...066/1002/SPORTS McCareins A Titan The Titans and WR Justin McCareins have agreed to a one-year, $1 million contract. With such a small salary, there is a chance McCareins won't be guaranteed a roster spot. For now, we wouldn't bother picking him up until he can show he can squeeze out some talent. Being familiar with the offense helps, but he still has a long ways to go. | March 12, 2008 4:21 PM -------------------------------------- http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune....l-interest.html Bears Show Interest In Brown The Bears, along with the Texans, have shown interest in free agent RB Chris Brown. While Brown might be an intriguing prospect for your fantasy squad, his injury history should cause you to drop that interest. Leave him on the waiver wire. | March 12, 2008 4:58 PM

Bronco Billy
He's a guy HOU was so impressed with that he sat on the bench and got no work at all until the last 2 weeks of the season in 2006 while turds like Lundy & Gado carried the ball. He was an UDFA in 2006 and was IRed all 2007 with a knee injury.
Randall
From Rotoworld Drew Carter's one-year contract with Oakland is for $2 million. It's more than double what he made last year, but still a rare decent investment for a Raiders club desperate for playmaking at wideout. Of course, it hardly makes up for the $55 million stunner they gave Javon Walker.

Randall
Nall back to Green Bay? Not very impressive, but may be OK as a backup who rarely plays. They are running out of options. The Texans, Vikings, and Packers have reportedly had discussions with free agent QB Craig Nall. If all the Vikings do is add Nall behind Tarvaris Jackson, we wouldn't bet on them making the playoffs. Nall knows Gary Kubiak's system, but the Texans already have one of the league's better backups in Sage Rosenfels. If Houston acquired Nall, it's possible that Rosenfels would go on the trade block. Guest Chappy
http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/jets/2008...ubba-frank.html Jets Sign Franks The Jets have signed former Packer TE Bubba Franks. With the team looking like they want to put more emphasis on the run game, Franks fits in perfectly as he is one of the better blocking tight ends in the league. He could steal some receptions from TE Chris Baker, but likely won't do enough to be a fantasy pick. | March 16, 2008 12:35 PM
