dirtdickens
Not sure how much they have in cap space, but with the recent signings I can't imagine they could afford the pick they have. Anyone have any info on this? McFadden really makes sense for them, but the money issue. What about the Raiders tradin the pick to the cowboys for both 1st rounders? budlitebrad
Quinn (22) and Staley's (28) contracts are worth about $40.5 mil max combined and about $13 mil guaranteed combined, while Adams' (4) is worth about $46 mil and got $18.5 mil guaranteed. Quinn's deal was worth more than other rookies picked before him though.
dirtdickens
1. Do they have that kind of money? 2. How much would it improve their fortunes to make that deal and take two top flight lineman?
kpholmes
Obviously if money is an issue they'll back load the contract as much as possible then try to restructure it. A lot of things are going to be factors for the Raiders in the next few seasons financially, the biggest being Asomumugha's future with the team. The Vatican Hitsquad
Cap figures as of last week. Looks like we have plenty of room there to sign 3-4 more guys who have been hurt or disgruntled...
budlitebrad
Well they'll have less rookies this year (unless they trade down) so I'm sure they could fit him in somewhere.
