William Green wants to come back?

Former Browns RB William Green says he's got his life back together and wants another chance in the NFL.

He says he's quit smoking Josh Gordon and is down to 215 pounds. Green, 28, was never much of player when he was on the league and has been out of it for the past two years. He'll work out at his alma mater Boston College's Pro Day Tuesday. Maybe if he looks good he'll get a shot in someone's camp.

Power to him.

Let him have shot - not straight to a team necessarily, but at least a shot to try to MAKE a team.

True. But he choose a heck of a time to try in one of the deepest RB classes in years. He may get a shot but he might not make it out of camp.

Come on now. Al don't do drugs. He may be old. He may have a lot of money. But he aint that stuip to give him that type of deal.

It's never too late to start (doing drugs). It may improve Al's outlook and judgement.

Think about it. If he's too stoned he may not interfere with the coaches. Green will help him out.

DMD would be excited if he made a comeback. He'd probably be a Top 10 RB.

NFL Network last night reported that Green worked out with college players yesterday (I think he was at the BC workout day). He had a 44" vertical, benched 225 lbs something like 22 times, and looked great (numbers from memory - don't quote me on them). He also ran a 4.86 40.

Looks like pro football may not be in his future....
