Wolverines Fan
It's from collegefootballtalk.com, so don't take it to the bank. POSTED 8:24 a.m. EST, March 16, 2008 PRYOR WILL DECIDE THIS WEEK Star high school quarterback Terrelle Pryor led his school to the Pennsylvania state basketball championship Saturday, and he said afterward that he's less than a week away from deciding where he'll go to college. "I'll be deciding next week," Pryor said Saturday. "Next week, I'm going to say the school I'm going to, sign it, and get it over with." Pryor has visited two schools, Michigan and Ohio State, and has said he's considering two others, Oregon and Penn State. But he hasn't visited Oregon, and wouldn't have time for such a cross-country trip this week, meaning that if Pryor can be taken at his word, the Ducks appear to be out of it. Pryor also said, "It's down to two schools. I can't tell you which two." Most people think the two are Ohio State and Michigan. I think it's between OSU and PSU. I agree with this and ultimately he'll choose OSU but at least say to his father that he gave PSU a fair look.
budlitebrad
Hopefully the kid clears up his maturity problems. He's been getting into more fights at his basketball games than Stephen Jackson.

Do you have a link to this? I heard there was a scuffle after one game he was involved in. But multiple? What other maturity problems have you seen? Just curious. I have heard a lot people knocking this kid without much to back it up with.
budlitebrad
The first incident wasn't a fight, but could have turned into one: He continued his dialogue with fans. Then, after postgame handshakes, Pryor immediately went toward the student section. Following a ridiculous, prolonged exchange, Pryor’s teammates intervened. Why they didn’t stop him before is unknown. Why his coaches allowed it to happen is an even greater injustice. Officials escorted Pryor and Jeannette toward the locker room, where the two teams were side by side. The situation wasn’t over, and the nation’s most recognized high school athlete does not realize his good fortune. That’s when a Jeannette assistant exited the Jayhawks’ locker and complained about the conduct of the South Fayette students. That’s something he had a right to do. One officer, however, did not appreciate the direction of the conversation. He was present when Pryor accosted the South Fayette fans. “You’re lucky we didn’t take your kid (Pryor) in,” the officer said. “He threatened to go into the crowd.” Here's the second altercation: Pryor said Joe Long, the son of North Catholic's coach and a junior forward, called him a name in the handshake line. Pryor was visibly upset and was held back by teammates from going toward North Catholic's team.
Cameltosis
I'm not saying the kid doesnt have a little growing up to do. Who doesnt at that age? But this article is a little over the top for a verbal altercation. As is your comment after two verbal altercations. I played bball in a small town with no all americans on my team. I heard some pretty messed up sh!t yelled at me. I can only imagine what they are yelling at Pryor. Now thats not saying he might not turn into the next Mo Clarett. But lets not compare the kid to Stephen Jackson just yet.
Rockerbraves
I'll agree with this guy's speculation: Could Pryor have ruled out Penn State weeks ago but just strung the Nittany Lions along until he got past this string of games in the Jordan Center? Think about it. If he had committed to Ohio State back on signing day, how friendly would the Jordan Center have been this afternoon? The Penn State students would have undoubtedly got a head start on booing him before he ever put on the Scarlett and Gray. But instead he was showered with praise as the thousands who packed the Jordan Center cheered his name. I think it's pretty obvious he's not going to Penn State now. He said a few weeks ago he was going to sign with Ohio State on signing day, but he delayed it out of respect for his father who asked him to give Penn State another look. He said all along he intended to visit Penn State, but now just hours after playing his last basketball game in State College he says he's ready to announce, and oh yeah, he won't be visiting Penn State afterall. The writing is on the wall, people. Terrelle Pryor is a Buckeye.

Coffeeman
I just had a UM grad come into my cubicle and rant/cry about this for almost 15 minutes. 'Anybody but the f*cking Buckeyes' he said, over and over. Sad, really. I told him they may've just dodged the bonehead/bust bullet, but he was having none of it.... GOB1
Sad day to be a wolverine, but 1 player doesnt make or break a team. I have had bad feelings about this kid for a while. Lets hope theres no strings or anything behind closed doors that went on. Tressels track record speaks for itself.

Pryor will be coming in off the bench and running the "Shot-Ginn" formation....WOW NICE. I'm a Henton man myself as long as we can keep plenty of sorority gals doing their part.
