CaptainHook Posted March 27, 2008 Share Posted March 27, 2008 Didn't see this before... Jason David id the corner you are referring to. It's been said that he is more of a fit for a cover 2 system. I personally think we'll see some improvement this year for David, but still not worth the price they paid for him. Harper, while not the greatest in pass coverage is a fantastic run stopper. He showed a lot more promise as a rookie, but then tore his ACL at the end of the season. Last year that showed a little, but another year removed I think he's going to be outstanding. Wasn't David's contract frontloaded for the first year? I thought I remember that, 'cause it made it more difficult for the Colts to match. I think his cap number was pretty friendly for the rest of the contract. Not sure of the specifics, but I wouldn't doubt it. Mickey Loomis is one of the best there is with working the cap.
