rattsass
Yes, that's right. I looked over a few completed mock drafts at FFC this wekend and sure enough, Burleson and Porter were drafted in the same round of one of those. Both figure (at this early stage) to be starters for their respective teams. Both have a chance to redeem their less than stellar careers. Discuss. Big Score 1
One of the two will be their teams #1 WR. There's your answer.

rattsass
Thanks Roller. It actually was the 10th round. I saw another where Porter went in the 9th and Burleson in the 11th. But the point is, both are being viewed right now around the same level, and those prone to self abuse might actually be debating this choice yet again. Personally, I think Burleson seemed to finally be "getting it" late least season - especially week 17 when he went off against the downtrodden Falcons. I did pick up Burleson on waivers in my dynasty around week 10-12 last year and I do have some expectation that he could be a nice sleeper pick in this year's drafts. Definitely a coin flip but what tips the scales in Burleson's favor, imo, is opportunity. Seattle figures to pass a lot again this year which would give a bump to Burleson's value. I look at the Jags and Porter... neither are adept at producing a 1000yd receiving season for themselves.
Avernus
it really depends on where each WR lands on the depth chart... Burleson is ideal in the slot in 3-4 WR sets where he's not getting so much attention... Porter's situation is tough to tell because he's currently listed as 5th on the depth chart with not so much competition....plus he's not in so much of a pass happy offense, but apparently that's changing at least a little this season... it's tough to tell, but for some reason I think Porter may end up with the better numbers ....but it's really tough to tell...I just think Porter is the best talent on the Jags while Burleson is actually the 3rd best WR on Seattle...but he'll be #2 when Branch gets hurt and I don't think he'll thrive as much if he is forced into the #2 role...
