Offensive line help for sure! Then I can maybe upgrade the Steelers grade from B to B+. I really liked their skill position picks though, but really need line help and a safety to help Polamalu out wouldn't hurt either.

The Steelers should go after OG, Roy Schuening, Oregon St.

Schuening is 6-4 320 lbs and there might not be a tougher player in this draft, which will suit the Steeler mentality just fine. Schuening is a road grater. He has a powerful lower body and the upper body strength to steamroll defenders. He started every game over 4 seasons as a Beaver (yeah I said Beaver), including an October game against Cal when he was suffering from walking pneumonia. Yeah Schuening doesn't move really well and even though he's very strong, he's not particularly athletic or light on his feet. He would have trouble if asked to get out into space and pull. He's not a liability in pass-protection, however, he's never going to excel, especially against quick three-technique tackles. Regardless of his limitations, Schuening will be a solid starter on a team that employs a pure power running game, like the Steelers enjoy doing from time to time.

I thik they's also look at replacing Anthony Smith at safety with DaJuan Morgan from North Carolina St.

With there 403 picks on day two I think the Eagles should take 402 DT's and 1 QB.

Actually I would like to see them add OL and CB depth, a pash-rushing DE, and a S who could eventually replace Dawkins or maybe start at SS this year.

I would also love to see them add a big WR for McNabb to use in the red zone. I really wanted them to take Limas Sweed or Malcolm Kelly. I would have been excited with DeSean Jackson and Sweed or Kelly. That would have upgraded their KR/PR with Jackson and a big target with either Sweed or Kelly.

I don't like the Laws pick because DT was not a need for them. They could have grabbed a back-up/rotation DT on day two for depth.

I want to see the Bills grab a big pass catching T.E.

Martin Rucker from Missouri or Jacob Tamme from Kentucky would be some solid candidates.

Thank you for the info. I will do some reasch on them now. I really thought the Bill swould have traded up and grab one of the top 3 guys. Oh well 2 out 3 are not bad.

Although I like the Bears' first two picks, I'm wondering what the heck they will do at quarterback, if anything at all. As the draft went on, I thought both Henne and Brahm would fall into the third round, and the Bears could grab one of them with pick #70. The remaining quarterbacks don't thrill me, and some of them look like projects. Neither Grossman (despite what Angelo may think) nor Orton is the long-term answer at the position. :wacko::D:D

After Day #1, KC has:

1.05 = DT

1.17 = OT/OG

2.05 = CB

... in no certain order ... next up tomorrow KC has nine picks ... which I expect to get spread as follows:

Offense

OL (x2 or x3), QB, WR, TE, RB

Defense:

DL (x1 or x2), CB

and ... if we only draft three linemen (2 OL and 1 DL), I would expect us to look for a second QB or a LB.

...............................................

Specifically, here are some names I would expect KC is looking atgetting as many of these players as possible (hopefully four or five of them, at least):

QB: John David Booty (USC), Josh Johnson (San Diego), Dennis Dixon (Oregon)

RB: Kevin Smith (Central Florida), Tashard Choice (Georgia Tech)

WR: Early Doucet (LSU), Earl Bennett (Vanderbilt), Andre Caldwell (Florida), Will Franklin (Missouri)

TE: Martin Rucker(Missouri), Brad Cottam (Tennessee), Gary Barnidge (Louisville)

OC: Steve Justice (Wake Forest), John Sullivan (Notre Dame), Kory Lichtensteiger (Bowling Green)

OG: Jeremy Zuttah (Rutgers), Roy Schuening (Oregon State), Mike McGlynn (Pittsburgh), Drew Radovich (USC)

OT: Oneil Cousins (UTEP), Anthony Collins (Kansas), John Greco (Toledo), Carl Nicks (Nebraska)

DE: Cliff Averil (Purdue), Chris Ellis (Virginia Tech)

LB: Erin Henderson (Maryland), Marcus Howard (Georgia), Shawn Crable (Michigan)

CB: Chevis Jackson (LSU)

I believe Terrell Thomas is already off the board.

Let's see how I do:

QB: John David Booty (USC), Josh Johnson (San Diego), Dennis Dixon (Oregon)

RB: Kevin Smith (Central Florida), Tashard Choice (Georgia Tech)

WR: Early Doucet (LSU), Earl Bennett (Vanderbilt), Andre Caldwell (Florida), Will Franklin (Missouri)

TE: Martin Rucker(Missouri), Brad Cottam (Tennessee), Gary Barnidge (Louisville)

DE: Cliff Averil (Purdue), Chris Ellis (Virginia Tech)

LB: Erin Henderson (Maryland), Marcus Howard (Georgia), Shawn Crable (Michigan)

CB: Chevis Jackson (LSU)

KC Picks not on my list:

Jamaal Charles (RB, Texas) [surprised he was there and thought KC would have focused on a more 'true' every down type back to back-up LJ]

DaJuan Morgan (S, North Carolina State) [Carl Peterson is back in charge of the draft ... :wacko:]

Brandon Carr (CB, Grand Valley State) [seriously? A CB from Grand Valley State? God help us...we still need offensive linemen. Albert and Brian Waters need help!]

Barry Richardson (OT/OG, Clemson) [Who is drafting? This is manic. Richardson is huge and very smart, graduating HS and college in 3yrs each.]

Kevin Robinson (WR/KR, Utah State) [Another fast big-play potential WR who'll prolly get a start as a return specialist. :D Need more big bodies.]

Brian Johnston (DE, Gardner-Webb) [KC loves drafting high performing D-II DE's and have had some success; see Buck Buchanon (NFL HOF), Jared Allen and Boomer Grigsby.]

Mike Merritt (TE, Central Florida) [if there was any doubt, King Carl was driving the boat today.]

Summary for KC:

* We picked as many offensive linemen as we did tight ends.

* We drafted as many offensive linemen as we did cornerbacks.

* We only used 1/3rd of our picks on linemen (two OL and two DL), when those were our two biggest areas of need heading into the draft.

* At least we didn't pick a kicker.

* Either I did a bad job of pulling candidates together for KC to draft from, or the Chiefs did. For now, I'm saying the Chiefs had a bad day.

Day 1 = A+

Day 2 = F

OVERALL = C- (too many missed opportunities on day two to get the average any higher)
