Rockerbraves
NEW ORLEANS -- LSU said Friday that coach Les Miles has kicked quarterback Ryan Perrilloux off the team. Perrilloux, who had been suspended three times in his college career, "didn't fulfill his obligation as an LSU student-athlete," Miles said. He did not offer details. LSU said Friday that Perrilloux is expected to finish out the spring semester at the school. Miles suspended Perrilloux in February, shortly before spring practice began, for unspecified team violations. Perrilloux's former high school coach, who remains close to the quarterback and his family, has said Perrilloux missed a mandatory team meeting, then missed classes to attend his father's funeral without notifying coaches. It was the third suspension for Perrilloux, who was considered the favorite to succeed Matt Flynn as the Tigers' starting quarterback. Perrillous led LSU to two victories -- including the Southeastern Conference championship game -- when Flynn, a senior, was injured during the 2007 season. Perrilloux, who was also suspended by the Tigers last summer, was on the fringe of a counterfeiting investigation and was caught trying to enter a Baton Rouge casino with false identification. He also was involved in a fracas at a nightclub in November, but was cleared of wrongdoing. Rockerbraves
Wow. I am sure he will have a nice arena football career. Some have speculated he's headed to Michigan. I see him going to a Div 1-AA team myself where he can play right now vs having to sit out a season.

I see him going to jail inside of a year! The only thing keeping him sort of out of trouble was football and with that gone he is history! Rockerbraves
The guy's highly overrated anyway Good riddance. Looks like the majority of LSU fans feel the same way. In a recent Baton Rouge poll seventy-eight percent of the people who responded to a Daily Report poll say the LSU football team will be better off without talented, but troubled quarterback Ryan Perrilloux. Nine percent say the Tigers won't be better off because of Perrilloux's dismissal, while 8% of readers don’t care and 5% don’t know. More than 1,850 people participated in the survey. LSU football coach Les Miles kicked Perrilloux off the team Friday after a string of suspensions and a reported failed drug test
Rockerbraves
Rumor has it that Ryan Perrilloux has hired an agent after being dismissed from the team for repeated rules violations and brushes with the law. While the exact reason for Perrilloux's dismissal has not been confirmed, his past transgressions have included investigation of counterfeiting, providing false I.D. to enter a casino, causing a disturbance at a restaurant and numerous missed classes and workouts. Contacted by phone, agent Gus Felderman said that interest in his client has been very strong and that Perrilloux has narrowed his options down to two offers. "Ryan plans on spending this weekend with his family and hopefully come to a decision by Monday. While time is definitely an issue, he needs to weigh the pros and cons of each offer and come to a sound decision that will be the best for himself and his family. While Burger King has offered him his preference of 2nd shift so he doesn't have to get up so early, the free meal plan at McDonalds is something that you cannot overlook. He loves the cookies."
