WaterMan
Can you name a player that Mike Vick played with that wasn't Warrick Dunn, Patrick Kerney or the often hurt Brookings? I'm sure you can but it takes you a while. Mike Vick did more with less than any QB I have ever seen before. Still, that is a heck of a winning percentage for any QB, let alone one with no help whatsoever. + a WR corp Vick had as much talent around him as Manning does. How many of Atlanta's WRs went to the Pro Bowl with their new QB? Edited May 21, 2008 by WaterMan
Grits and Shins
+ a WR corp Vick had as much talent around him as Manning does. How many of Atlanta's WRs went to the Pro Bowl with their new QB? Well when Vick can't hit the broad side of a barn, can't read defenses and refused to throw the ball ... did you really expect his WRs to go the pro bowl? Bring Back Pat!!!
Just the facts. Atlanta's PASSING numbers, as a team, the last four years: 07 3293 18-15 06 2371 21-15 05 2679 19-13 04 2412 15-16 Hmm, ... what was different in 07 than the three previous years? The WRs? Nope, still just Roddy White, Michael Jenkins and Alge Crumpler. So what was the difference? Somehow the group of Harrington, Redman and Leftwich managed to throw for 900 more yards behind that awful O-line and to that awful receiving crew. I've already argued that the addition of the Cincy WR coach helped Roddy tremendously. Other than that though same old crappy supporting cast... And all of your passing yardage numbers are wrong. And all of your passing yardage numbers are wrong. ... always some excuse for Vick 2007 - Falcons had 3,296 passing yards, 18 TDs, 15 INTs - http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?arc...amp;Submit=Find 2006 - Falcons had 2,371 passing yards, 21 TDs, 15 INTs - http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?arc...amp;Submit=Find 2005 - Falcons had 2,679 passing yards, 19 TDs, 13 INTs - http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?arc...amp;Submit=Find 2004 - Falcons had 2,412 passing yards, 15 TDs, 16 INTs - http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?arc...amp;Submit=Find I've provided the links ... please explain how "all the passing numbers are wrong". You will note with Vick under center the Falcons ranked in the bottom 5 in passing yards. After Vick leaves they ranked in the middle (18 as I recall). Seahawks21
You also must mention the record of the Falcons this past year without Vick. Only once was it mentioned here that somebody thought Vick could actually throw. Nobody is arguing that part.

Apparently you think that makes him a winner?
Jumpin Johnies
Or give him a line that can block and some receivers that can catch.... you suck

JoJoTheWebToedBoy
We are still arguing over this guy's career....... I don't know about the title "The Most Exciting Player in Football", but he could very well be "The Most Controversial Player in Football" Who cares..... ultimately, he was a loser. Anyone mention Michael Irving yet..... He has got to be up there
