Randall
Terrell Owens, who's entering a contract year, says he "definitely" wants to finish his career in Dallas and enter the Hall of Fame as a Cowboy. "I'm going to let it play out and not try to be a distraction," Owens said of his contract situation. "I'm a firm believer that things will work out for the best." Owens added that he believes he's got "3-5 years" left in the NFL. He'll attend Organized Team Activities when they kick off next week. kpholmes
Good for him. Glad to see he finally got a handle on how things should be done in the NFL. Edited May 12, 2008 by kpholmes
rajncajn
Great to see he's turned over a new leaf. Those Cowboys sure do employ some Class A individuals.
MrTed46
I think hes got 2-3 years left in him. Great to hear he is at least talking this way
Randall
I think hes got 2-3 years left in him. Great to hear he is at least talking this way Except assuming you'll make the Hall of Fame is a little over the top.

whomper
Except assuming you'll make the Hall of Fame is a little over the top. No doubt a pompous statement but I think he gets in for sure. We debated on here why Cris Carter wasnt a first ballot HOF member and if you look at their careers T.O has comparable #s in 3 less years Carter 15 years (I didnt include the 16th year little stint with Miami) 1101 rec 13899 yds 12.6 YPC 130 TD T.O 12 years 882 rec 13,070 yds 14.8 ypc 129 rec tds He is a tool for saying it but I would think he gets in.. SheikYerbuti
They should make him a deal: You get in on the first ballot if you agree to go in as an Eagle.

justin
Usually, the ticket takers at the Hall will let you inside as long as you're wearing a shirt, doesn't matter what jersey it is.

I brought it up not knowing how the Hall voters would react to his assumption. He may need a Super Bowl ring.

Randall
If he continues and puts up numbers he may be worthy of getting in but it is tough for a WR.
TDFFFreak
Seems to me he should go in as a Niner... but he didn't mean that as a slight to the Niners or the Eagles at all... I'm sure. What a tool.
Outshined
I wonder if Eagles fans would show up and boo him? Who would speak for him or enshrine him?
Wolverines Fan
Who would speak for him or enshrine him? I'm sure Jeff Garcia and Donovan McNabb would fight over this.

Bronco Billy
As much as I detest Owens, he unquestionably has HoF numbers. The thing that would keep him from getting in is ironically himself - a lot of the voters still see the game as a team game, and Owens is quite clear about his position that he feels the game is all about himself. His actions with BAL, his willingness to smear former team mates, his hold out (and the circus that went with it), as well as his on-field nonsense could be the roadblock he can't get beyond. If he were voted in, that would be one induction speech that I'd be sure to avoid. Maybe Garcia can present him...
Sooner Nation
Except assuming you'll make the Hall of Fame is a little over the top. Are you kidding, TO is one of the best WRs of this generation, if not the best. Moss needs a system to be successful. All you have to do is look at Philly before and then after TO, and Philly with TO, then look at Dallas before TO, and now with TO. TO made Tony Romo, as painful as that is to say. Dude is a beast. TO is a 1st ballet HOFer, to even consider anything else is blind hatred for the player.
The Vatican Hitsquad
... All you have to do is look at Philly before and then after TO, and Philly with TO... Didn't Philli play in 3 straight Championship games before they had TO? And him being on the team for the 4th didn't help, as he didn't step foot on the field the entire playoff run. Fred Ex had more of a post season impact to the team. Before i get flamed, in no way am i even comparing Fred Ex to TO... Just pointing out he had zero to do with the Eagles making that Super Bowl, and being they lost the game one could say he had little impact overall.
