Ordering pizza from out of town

How is this done? DO they ship it on co2 or something? I wouldn't mind throwing in with some buddies some day for a real chicago or new york pizza as I hope I never make it there to try on.

What is involved?

Ya mean those stuffed pizzas? THey list only three, are they all good?

I had a slice of meat lover's and a slice of deluxe, both excellent. Two pieces were more than enough to make me want my couch and remote.

Not from Chicago - but the best Pizza in Chi IMO - Gino's East - good chit

Gino's East

looks like 22-25 bones per pie

edit- looks like BJ already had it nailed- shocker

Gino's was the other one that some of us hit up while there a few weeks back. I skipped Gino's for Paradise Pup but from what I was told, Gino's was not as good as Giordano's. Close but they said Gino's was sloppier and didn't hold together as well. but if yer eating a gut bomb of a pizza, and having it flown in frozen, I guess it really doesn't matter

I've had plenty of both, and both are very good, can't go wrong either way, but for my money gino's east is the penultimate chicago style pizza. get the sausage pizza with the patty in the bottom of the pizza. damn fine grub.

to polk's original question, I don't think NY pizza would hold up even close to as well to the freezing and shipping. plus, just about any decent sized town will have a good NY style pizza joint.

None here, plus how do I know it when I find it?

I live in chicago, love pizza and have tried them all. Although I like thin crust better than stuffed or deep dish - the best Chicago style pizza is

Lou Malnati's. Trust me on this one, they pack and ship anywhere in the U.S. too.

Agreed. Lou's is the best by far.
