dirtdickens
Local radio is reporting CB Daven Holley was injured recently and that leaves the team with 3 corners on the roster. The team is stuck with two second year players and a career back up since the team traded Leigh Bodden and booted Kenny Wright. Rumors have flared up again with Brady Quinn being the main trade bait in a deal where the Browns get Lito. I highly doubt Phil gives up any more draft picks for corner help, but the team can not go into a season with so little depth and experience. The Browns also supposedly made contact regarding Ty Law. We should know more tommorow.
darin3
Why would the Eagles trade for Quinn when they blew a high-ish pick on Kolb?
Ziachild007
With the drafting of Kolb so early last year, that doesnt really make sense for Philly, IMO.
dirtdickens
I thought the Kolb part didn't make sense either, but the radio said Philly was contacted

Belushi
Makes no sense. That's not a need for Philly. They could certainly get more for Lito elsewhere, or just use him and have a great secondary. Another young, expensive QB isn't what they need.
Duchess Jack
just look at the Phins with Beck and Henne. Not out of the question.. but then.. the Eagles do make better decisions.
ROYALWITCHEESE
If the Eagles trade Lito, it will be for Roy Williams or Chad Johnson.
loaf
snippet from Tony Grossi's (beat writer) story So now what's GM Phil Savage going to do? He virtually has ruled out laying out big bucks for unsigned 14-year veteran Ty Law and trading for Philadelphia's Lito Sheppard, who also would demand a new, big contract. Sheppard has had a recent history of injuries and may not be worth the double investment of a high draft pick and a new contract.
Swiss Cheezhead
That could be one of the worst rumors I ever heard Agreed. Aside from the Browns not paying Lito what he wants, the Eagles would NEVER make this deal. The public-relations consequences ALONE would make it an absolute impossibility for them.
