untateve
wirehairman and detlef. wire hooked me up with various cuts of deer meat, sharpie breasts, and pheasant. I still haven't cooked these up because I want a quiet weekend when I can do it right. I've never cooked wild game before and I want to be focused. My wife found a whole new appreciation for thehuddle when this bounty arrived. Now the question is, what beverage should I drink with this meal, or any other special/spectacular meal. The answer that immediately comes to mind: Dogfish Head Immort Ale. detlef has obtained a case (minus 1 or 2) of this ale. I will be picking it up in the beginning of August as I make my way down the east coast on my vacation. I have already informed my wife of our scheduled stop in Raleigh. In all seriousness, it's really nice that there are those on this board who will do things like this for others. My sincere appreciation to wire and det. detlef
Works in Chappel Hill, lives in Durham. xactly, though its Chapel Hill, one "p". I do live in Durham exactly 1.5 miles from the highway that our dear boy Steve and family will be traveling on. By August, either our house will be put back together or Steve will find my wife and I hanging from the rafters at which point I'd suggest he grab the 2000 Bordeauxs and the 98 Chateau Neufs while he's getting his ales. untateve
Well, I knew the general location. In any event, I estimate arriving for my ales on Saturday, Aug 2. It'd be nice to meet up with other area Huddlers if something can be put together. Then, you may all experience the totality of untateve.
