The Wolf
As per SI.com: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/foot...s.ap/index.html EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress is refusing to practice because the Super Bowl champions haven't renegotiated his contract. Burress reported to Giants Stadium for a mandatory minicamp Wednesday, but said he told the coaching staff he won't work out without a new deal. The wide receiver says he has three years left on his current deal. Burress, who battled through an injury-hampered season last year, caught the game-winning touchdown in the Giants' stunning 17-14 victory over the previously unbeaten New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. Savage Beatings
Three?! When are these idiots going to learn to structure their contracts intelligently from the beginning? When Owners learn to stop restructuring them before they mature.
Belushi
Perfect, now I've got Burress and Engram as hold-outs. Oh, and Housh threatened to hold out too. Great way to start the season.

Bronco Billy
Funny how the players who want to restructure complain about being underpaid, but you never ever hear mention of the signing bonus that the team paid up front before the player ever played one down under that contract. That signing bonus is the guaranteed money that players get up front in order to sign those long term contracts with agreed upon terms for reimbursement for each year played. Selective memory, I guess... It's also kind of funny that you never see players feeling guilty about the signing bonus money if their performance sucks after signing the contract, and wanting to return some of the guaranteed money in those cases.
