A friend makes a version where he dissolves peppermint into the milk over the stove but I'm unsure what types of milk he uses, etc. I don't want to just make vanilla and add crushed peppermints. Atlanta Cracker Posted July 5, 2008 Author Share Posted July 5, 2008 Here it is... 2 Cups half and half 2 cups heavy cream 3/4 cup sugar 1 tbs vanilla 1 can Trader Joes Old Fashoin English peppermint red food coloring Dissloved mints in half and half dissolved sugar in same while hot chilled in ice bath refrigerated added cream and vanilla refrigerated more Mixed in ice cream blender YUM!!
