Randall
Americas team. Do they ever sell out? Can locals see the games? They may not even be Jacksonville's team. Nice stats but perhaps they won't be in Jacksonville long. LA? Oklahoma City?
H8tank
Do they ever sell out? More butts than Indy. Can locals see the games? Yeah, it is called 'the Jack', you know, their stadium. Nice stats but perhaps they won't be in Jacksonville long. How much do you want to bet?

Randall
How many games do you go to? I'm sure you support your team. What happened to the thread title? I thought it said America's team. That title must be reserved for Cowboys fans. Edited July 3, 2008 by Randall

Great post. That's what happens when they put teams in college markets.

untateve
at the thread title being changed It would appear that DMD changed the title from 'America's Team' to 'Florida's Team.' I must admit that I take umbrage at this misnomer. Everyone who lives in Florida knows that Florida's Team can be found here: http://www.ufl.edu/ I insist that the title of this thread be changed to 'Jacksonville's Team.' Randall
To be fair it will be interesting to see how they do this year. They have a good QB but the passing game can see improvement. Porter should help. Their biggest problem is with the Colts. If they win the division they may arrive as a team. Even if they do beating New England is a huge challenge. So are the Steelers. Can they move to the NFC? Can they move to the NFC? Unfortunately, the Jags have owned the Steelers in recent years. Most are good, close games, but, the Jags have been getting the upper hand consistently in that match-up. With the Steelers schedule, and O-Line problems that weren't addressed, this might be a tough year for them. They are talented, but, I think you'll see an 8-8 or 9-7 year from them, unfortunately. I do think that the Steelers draft this year will pay hugh dividends in the near future though. After this year, it will be clear that they are a great team with an awful offensive line.
