Duchess Jack
Any thoughts on him this year? I went into a dynasty FA auction this year with very little FA dollars. I was able to pick up winners like Leftwich, Duckett, P Thomas, Colbert, Carter, Lelie, K Robinson and Mike Williams for a buck each. We don't have to cut until the end of August, so I figured, what the heck. They cost me eight bucks. I am scatter bombing. Anyway... Why is nobody looking at this guy. I always thought that he was big and slow... kind of dopey looking as well... but I never thought I'd see him unable to land a backup gig o a chance to compete with somebody in camp. Is it the injuries?
Chief Dick
Is it the injuries? That and he's terrible.

Chavez
Good luck in Canada Byron. TOTALLY not a CFL-type QB.
Bachi Boy
Floyd Reese (current ESPN analyst, former Titans GM) had commented recently about a situation like this. Floyd was asked what might make NFL GMs shy away from a former first round QB that could still serve as a legitimate backup QB. Floyd said what might hold back guys like Byron back is his mentality. If Byron can't accept the fact that his role will be that of a backup, GMs aren't interested. Some GMs don't want a veteran coming in and shaking the confidence of a young QB I personally think a little competition might be good for young QB's in this league (Alex Smith, Rodgers, Ryan, Russell and etc), but this was from a former NFL GMs point of view. Chavez
Good luck in the ARENA league Bryon. I'd actually go more along the lines of "good luck running the shake machine at BK, Byron" but I go the impression he was smart enough not to piss his money away, so he should be fine financially. Wait..that might not work either since he can't lead 10 guys 100 yards.

Goldsheet
I think the odds of Leftwich working for Marshall with some coush job helping recruiting or something is more likely than him having an nfl fantasy impact. If he couldn't win the job in the atl last yr with virtually no competition he's finished. I do however really like your P Thomas pick up. Solid value, huge sleeper potential. Deuce is finished. H8tank
He'll probably land somewhere when a QB goes down... here's hoping for Indy Byron! Zero fantasy value however.
Randall
He'll probably land somewhere when a QB goes down... here's hoping for Indy Byron! Zero fantasy value however. Wouldn't it be embarrassing to lose to Indy with Leftwich at QB?
