James Hardy starting tonight

From Inside the Bills

HARDY TO START: Bills second-round pick James Hardy will not only play Saturday night against Washington, he'll be starting with the first unit on offense. Hardy may have drawn the starting assignment whether Josh Reed was appearing in this game or not.

The first team offense is only getting 10 to 20 plays. Whether Hardy only gets that many snaps remains to be seen. It could depend on his hamstring, which the staff likely does not want to overtax.

My point exactly. He caught a TD, but also missed blocks and ran a wrong route. So let's not get ahead of ourselves here...

Your point exactly? What exactly is your point? He's a rookie with a ton of potential. He's going to mess up, especially in his first preseason game. Now, if he's doing this at the end of camp, then you have a problem. Talk about getting ahead of yourself.

Ok you're right let's move him up to WR3 status after one TD...

:D

Don't players have to prove anything nowadays? We just automatically assume they are great, are making "rookie" mistakes, and cut them a break?

That facts are he made more mistakes than he did positive things.

I'll reserve judgement on him until I see a complete game with complete effort.

In the meantime, I'd rather have him than Josh Reed on my roster.

It isnt about WR3 or WR1 or 2. A lot of guys play in dynasties, myself included, and Hardy is on one of my teams. So to see a guy catch a TD in his 1st game is actually pretty good.

Where in any of my posts did I say we should move him to WR3, or anywhere for that matter?

Listen guy, I'm not here to argue or get in silly pissing matches over stupid crap like this. :D

I made a simple comment that the guy made a pretty nice redzone TD grab.

And, as GTS mentions below, it's not like he has great competition...

So yeah, now that I think about it, I'd love to have him as a WR3. :D

Oh, and it sure doesn't look like you're "reserving judgment". :D

Yeah, exactly....
