Capt. Stanky
I know it's just the first pre-season game, but the Titans O-line absolutely man handled the Rams D-line. LWhite was 5 yards deep before first contact on allot of runs. Everyone's been talking about CJohnson long TD, but I think the bigger FF factor is how good that O-line looked. I liked both backs this year as sleepers before this contest, and fear I might have to reach on them a bit higher than I projected.. Those that think Fisher would risk using CJohnson as an every down back are delusional. He will be a change of pace Homerun hitter. LWhite, while unspectacular, will get the majority of the work, because that's what his body type suggests. CJohnson is in a better position to succeed as a part timer. He can come in fresh and make all the DB's look even slower than they did on his TD run. I don't know about you, but I'm bumping up the Titans running game. Im a Titans fan and was happy to see the O-Line and RBs look good. But remember its preseason and it was the Rams that have one of the worst run Ds in the NFL. Im not overly excited yet... Randall
They scored their first TD with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Who was playing on the defensive line at that time?
dirtdickens
I think it had more to do with the Rams defense than the Titans running game.
WaterMan
I'd bump up a local high school's running game against the Rams.
gasface
their run blocking was pretty tight last year as well.. if white wasnt a fat ass, he could have had 1500 yards
Seahawks21
I think you bump Johnson up over a player or two if you had him ranked pretty low, but definitely don't get carried away due to the several reasons already stated.
Brentastic
Is Lendale definitely the starter this year?
cre8tiff
I'd bump up a local high school's running game against the Rams. +1 gadadmbit. Rams D makes ANY running back look like the second coming of fricken Sweetness.
FishFreak
Yeah I would bump up the Titans running game as a whole but fantasy wise I'd rather not draft any of their RB's. White will be a 1,000 yard rusher just from the touches he gets, Chris Johnson will be a good change of pace and don't forget about Chris Henry....He'll accumulate some good garbage stats as well. The Titans are a very physical team that could run the ball 65% of the time. Too bad they won't have one main guy doing everything because that's a great offense for an every down back.
