Randall
Thank you Arizona for letting us have Chillar. While they were in contract talks with Fitz they didn't bid both players up.

Randall
Hawk is down? He had kind of strain covering a TE in the last game. This is the story. They haven't said how serious it is. Linebacker A.J. Hawk did not practice for the first time in more than six years, we think. Coach Mike McCarthy said it was a chest injury sustained against the Bengals when Hawk deflected that third-down pass to Ben Utecht. Hawk was wearing a harness on right shoulder and McCarthy was intentionally vague about the injury except to say Hawk probably wouldn't have played if it were a regular season game. Brandon Chillar took Hawk's spot at weak-side backer next to Nick Barnett and Brady Poppinga;
Bronco Billy
That he's rigged with a harness rather than being held out or having a procedure is a good sign. It's awfully early in TC - even a surgery of significant proportion would have had him back on the field by week 6, give or take.
Chavez
Luckily Brett Favre made sure we had great LB depth before he left for the Jets.

Chavez
Good answer. But I was looking for a Black Hawk Down movie reference. What, like "white Hawk down"? I thought about it, but I realized that polky's (I think) "Black Hawg Down" post for Nolan Richardson getting canned at Arky set the bar high.
