Gros Membres!
No guys! Seriously, will he break his own record? Nope. Giants stopped the Pats in the Super Bowl because they had become a one-dimensional passing team. Period. It worked for them all season and playoffs and they finally got burned. Pats will need o get their running game going early to keep defenses guessing this year. Â I've got him down for 13.

Pitbull739
ESPN just put up a 16TD projection. Since they know all, I will go with 17.
MikesVikes
This year, defenders can push him out of bounds. Maybe he gets two feet in bounds only 50% of the time now because defenders will be trying to push him out of bounds 75% more often. You can push him out up to 100% of the time now where last year it was none. According to my calculations which are 80% accurate 45% of the time, I'm guessing that he scores about 10 this year. dirtdickens
15 Â The playbook on stopping the Pats is out, its just a matter of how many people have the guys to execute it. As crazy as it sounds I could see Bellicheat using the passing game as somewhat of a decoy this year and running the ball at people. Again it is a very slight chance, but it sounds like something that would be right up Billy Boys alley.

Teams wanting to attempt need to be A.) Having a magical season B.) Have one of the scariest d Lines on the field C.) Have the Patriots offensive line play like dogfart D.) Have a lingering injury to Brady. Â Brady is the best player in the NFL, he plays on behind a great line and throws the ball to the best wr in the league. The playbook on stopping them will fail at least 13 times this year, with a chance of success around three times. I do agree with you on BB running the ball a lot more than last year. I see Maroney putting up some nice stats.

There are only a few teams that can pull off what the giants did...I think some people assume every team in the NFL can just copy the giants scheme with less talented athletes. McBoog
When did this guy complete the fusion process? Ranichal Voss??? Â Do they taste the same? Only Waterman knows for sure! Â With one of the easiest scheadules in NFL history (based on last year's records), the Pats will be a high seed once again. With Brady's injury and lack of camp time (which equals not a lot of time to work on the "new" stuff), I see a potentially slower start for the whole passing game, picking up as the season progresses and Brady heals (if he does). Â Based on this, I still see a good 13 to 15 TDs. The loss of Stalworth on the other side is going to have an effect. Welker's #s will be down also. I don't think he is as good a #2 as he is a #3. They will still score a lot of points against the throng of crappy teams they will face, but struggle more than usual against the better teams. Randall
0. Hey somebody had to set the low bar. Â If Brady somehow went down the Pats would be a mess.
Bronco Billy
I put the propositional bet of Moss' TDs in 2008 vs average Vick knobbers given in a week at about 6:5 in favor of Moss.
Stalking_Eagle
Last year was an exceptional season, I think he will have under 15 TDs.
