Standard FFL

I am looking for peoples thoughts of the standard league settings. My league has been in existence for about 6 years and over those years players have chosen to deviate away from the standard settings. We have no waiver period, two quarter backs, a RB/WR slot, 6 points per throwing TD, .5 points per reception and the list goes on. I think a couple of changes from the standard are ok but I think the integrity of a league is compromised when you have all the Mickey Mouse setting like my current league. What do you think? What is standard now days?

No such thing as standard, but, assuming a 12 team league, the most "standard" nowadays, with some minor tweaks is:

Lineup:

1QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex RB/WR/TE, 1 K 1 DEF

Scoring - basically 1 pt per 10 yards rush/rec and 1 pt per 25 yards passing (usually scored in decimals)

4 pt per passing TD and 6 pt per rush/rec/ TD (many do 6 for all, so I am hesitant to say 4 per pass is a "standard")

Some form of PPR, either 0.5 or 1 pt per catch

I'd say about half have a penalty varying from -1 to -2 per INT/lost fumble

Usually waivers are based on reverse order of standing up until an established time frame and then it is FCFS, though, with the proliferation of players in recent years starting with yahoo, there is a slight shift towards player by player waivers (which really does not lend itself well to football as it does to a baseball league which is where it was copied from by yahoo). A smaller number of leagues do bids.
