Bush left in the second quarter limping ankle or leg didn't say. otherwise running game looks so-so. passing game is a different story. Brees is lookingterrible everyone should drop him 4-5 spots on their cheatsheets great devery dropped a TD pass. Mr. Henderson may be unemployed by game 4-5. Moore may a couple of great catches, having a good camp. Defense- although the Bengals had no major weapons except Carlson, the Saints basically manhandled the Bengals. They could not run, the Saints shut down Perry & Watson. they blitzed the hell out of Palmer and gave him quite a few shots. McKenzie looked excellent in his first action of the season. Palmer was sacked three times in the first half, the last on a safety blitz by Kevin Kaesviharn with 2 seconds left. He walked off the field with blood spilling down the front of his face, then headed to the locker room with a towel covering his head. He didn't return for the second half. tonorator Posted August 24, 2008 Share Posted August 24, 2008 just got back from the game. boy, my bengals suck. reggie came off a little gimp after a punt return and the report was that he left to get some ice on some part of his body. i don't believe there is any serious concern, but we'll see what happens ... and, uh, it's going to be a long season for the orange and black. Wasn't talking about his production, as the running game was sucky, was talking about his running and hitting the hole considering he is coming back from two knee surgeries.
