Man - I pop in @ FBG and morons are giving play-by-play. I come here and hardly anyone talking about the game. Curse you people w/lives n stuff.

Anyway for anyone not watching, HOU looked so-so on opening drive - Shaub did not, several off-target passes. DAL looked good though, esp Barber, just hammering thru people.

HOU on 2d drive, Shaub looking sucky as ever.

Who is "Shaub"?

Joseph Shaub is licensed by the State of Washington both as a lawyer and as a marriage and family therapist. His unique combination of credentials, plus Joseph's caring and down-to-earth manner are greatly appreciated by clients who are experiencing the emotional upheaval of divorce, separation and family transitions.

Dallas offense has looked sharp. A bad throw by Romo in the end zone for that INT. Barber has run well behind a strong O-Line. Defense has had moments, but they gave up an 80 yard TD drive. Starters were scheduled to get more PT in this game., may see first drive of 3rd QTR. Looking forward to seeing Felix in the 2nd half.

if schaub can stay healthy, i like him as a top 10 qb.

edited to add AJ needs to stay healthy too. 2 fairly big if's i realize.

I think he may be closer to 6 or 7 if he and AJ stay healthy. Dude has a lot of underrated targets not named Johnson. Andre Davis and Kevin Walter are super-sleepers, and don't get me started on Owen Daniels. If Steve Slaton can keep the rock off the ground, he'll be a nice little PPR option too.

Yeah, if Slaton's not the starter by the 1st game of the season he will be by the 2nd or 3rd...guy was plowing through the Dallas D taking 2-3 guys with him...of course he's a Houston back now so by the 5th-6th game of the season I'm sure he'll be walking the sidelines on crutches

C. Taylor wasn't looking too bad either but seems to lack Slaton's balance and burst...

I think you bypass Taylor and get Slayton on the cheap later... Taylor doesnt have the motor that Slayton does... with the way Green and Brown miss games Slayton looks like a nice sleeper and a good fit for this offense.... IMHO.

He was talking to the med staff... that's good.

Special teamer Harry Williams will have surgery for a fractured vertebrae after being injured in the Texans' preseason loss Friday night.

Williams experienced temporary paralysis after colliding with teammate Nick Ferguson while covering a kick. He regained movement in his extremities, but needs fusion surgery to stabilize his spine. Doctors believe Williams will be able to walk again, but this may end the 26-year-old's career.
