splotchman
Passed at 4.02 TJ Housh for Thomas Jones in PPR league b/c I thought big dropoff in RBs after Jones. Now am kicking myself... Biggest draft pick you regret thus far??

major-tom
I took Chris Johnson at pick #60 in a 16 team redraft league when I probably could have waited until my next pick #69. It was soon after the big TD run/video that was posted here so I got caught up in the hype.

tomfin2000
Carson Palmer at 4.03 in a 12 team redraft. That was around the time of the first preseason game, and it's been butt ugly in Cincy ever since.

nibiyabi
Grabbed McFadden in the 5th when Santonio Holmes was still available, and thought he'd come back to me because all the picks coming up were by guys who had 3 WRs already and were hurting at RB. I had Holmes rated higher but took a look at the situation and felt I could easily get them both. Nope. Stuck with Cotchery as my #2, which ain't bad I guess. But still. LosGatosEnFuegos
Uh, I think that is good value. +1 If Schaub as your starter in the 11th is your worst pick, you did well. Mine is drafting Roddy White in the 5th. Maybe Stewart in the 5th also, but both could play up to their draft spot, just looking shakey at the minute. Also passing on Delhomme in the 7th and coming up with Garrard as my starter. Got Schaub though and I think he's due for a great year. Randall
I don't know if I regret it but Steve Smith and Brandon Marshall at 2.12 and 2.16 before the dueling suspensions.
burton164
Chad Johnson in the 4th. I had not paid much attention to his injury. I have never drafted him before and just thought he was crying about something again.
gasface
i took chad in the 3rd (16 teamer) right before he hurt his shoulder
LayLow
Rudi johnson in the 6th round. That was in on the 18th which was before this Chris Perry thing and all the other crap happened.
detlef
I reached for Mendenhal at pick 80 with lots of very solid players on the board. Mind you, it was before any preseason games were played In my draft the other night, I was targeting V Davis as TE and everyone had taken theirs, so I got greedy and waited a round too long. Grabbed Meachem at 11.05 in a ten team draft and based on the chorus of "who?" that followed, I certainly could have gone a pick later. V Davis got tabbed at the pick right after mine, but I ended up with O Daniels at 12. Mind you, depending on who you ask, that might be a blessing in disguise, but I actually see really big things for Davis this year. So, nothing horrible on either, but... cre8tiff
Rudi johnson in the 6th round. That was in on the 18th which was before this Chris Perry thing and all the other crap happened. +1 But worse. 4.16, with Fred Taylor and Ronnie Brown still on the board. gsmayes
In a 12-team, 3-player keeper league, Rudi Johnson at 5.12. Maybe I should have taken Medenhall instead, but I also got Perry. Rudi/Perry are my #3 rb behind Lewis and Stewart. I also have Slaton and Sammy Morris. Hopefully my rbs will be solid enough to pair with Wayne/Colston/Calvin/Witten (Colston/Witten were keepers). Pkillebr
Passing on Ricky Williams in round 8 because I was pretty sure I could get him in 9 and the guy right before me picked him up. Also, getting distracted (+1 to not drafting drunk) and having autodraft take Green Bay DST in round 10. Neither are really that bad though. Overall I'm still very happy with my draft. Got Schaub though and I think he's due for a great year. Apparently we had the same draft - I took Roddy in the 5th (as my 3rd WR), Stewart in the 6th and ended up with Garrard (who I got in the 12th) as my QB in a 12 team PPR league. Only difference is that I'm actually happy with these picks . . .
Savage Beatings
Jordon Dizon at 2.03 in Fusion. He might still be decent in a year or so, but there are other guys that I could/should have gotten there that would have paid off immediately. Eric Johnson at 21.12 in AOTAOP. kingfish247
I think/hope things will start to look better once the season starts but I wish rounds 7-10 went a bit different for me in my big $$$ league... I was a bit hamstrung by having no 9th rounder (I used it in order to keep Lendale). It was the 8th round and there were still 2 teams with no QB and no one had started drafting backups. So I took Schaub in the 8th. I was targeting Chris Johnson to pair with Lendale and sure enough 4 picks after I take Schaub someone else takes Chris Johnson. From the time I took Schaub in the 8th until my next pick in the 10th, only Phillip Rivers was taken. So in the 10th I very likely would've had my choice of Schaub/Garrard/Delhomme. There weren't any RBs or WRs I wanted so I just took Garrard in the 10th to pair with Schaub. Since then Lendale has missed practice/preseason carries due to the flu, ribs, hand injuries and general fatness (I'm sure he's fine but that's the kind of crap that I hate about him)... Schaub looks ok but Garrard barely has anyone to throw to anymore... KJ made it back and looks strong while the CHI OL looks worse than anticipated... theprofessor
In my local auction ($300 cap) I had one RB position to fill and was trying to save $8-$12 to get Chris Johnson of the Titans at the latter part of the draft. I draft with a lot of Seahawk fans and was trying to get a couple owners to fill their RB spots and their cap to make it easier for me to acquire CJ. I threw out Maurice Morris for $4.00 and the damn room went silent! Worst sound I could have ever imagined. With all the Hawk fans in the room and Morris projected as the starter I thought he would go for at least $10-$15? So I got Morris as my last RB! He might turn out to be good value at $4.00 but he wasn't who I wanted. Chris Johnson went for $3.00 about 20 minutes later! Lesson learned. Azazello1313
probably spending 12% of my cap on carson palmer and 13.5% on chad johnson in the same auction.
Big Score 1
Chad Johnson @ 3.05 in a 12 teamer. When I picked CJ, he only had a minor shoulder sprain which with two weeks off before the start of the regular season, would heal fine. Of course that mild shoulder sprain has now morphed into a torn labrum where one hit could end his season.
