chinatown dragons
in looking at the fantasy Depth charts, I see the Huddle has Jonathan Stewart and Matt Forte as RB1's, yet most sites have DeAngelo Williams and Adrian Peterson (bears) as starting backs. Is Stewart and Forte projected to start, or is this projection based on them taking over the job?
Randall
Carolina hasn't realeased an official depth chart as far as I know.
Scooby
What are the odds Kevin Jones takes over in Chicago, I hear he has looked good so far and is in great shape?
tazinib1
What are the odds Kevin Jones takes over in Chicago, I hear he has looked good so far and is in great shape? He wouldn't WIN the job per say as much as Forte would lose it.
Scooby
He wouldn't WIN the job per say as much as Forte would lose it. So maybe noone steps up unless there is an injury? That is one downfall of the RBBC for fantasy, maybe noone gets hurt.
Savage Beatings
The depth charts at the Huddle have traditionally been based upon the most likely FF production at each position, and don't always seem to follow the official depth charts listed by each NFL team. I did draft stewart in my other league, so hoping he is productive this season for them!
piratesownninjas
What are the odds Kevin Jones takes over in Chicago, I hear he has looked good so far and is in great shape? As a Kevin Jones apologist for the past several years, I can tell you that Forte will have to lose the job. There is no way he becomes the guy who takes the lions share of the touches. His body can't withstand it. If Forte gets hurt, I can see a full blown time share.

Correct At the top it says These are fantasy specific depth charts and may not always be consistent with "official" team depth charts. Metromancer
It's Forte's job to lose is right, as the coaching staff really likes him and wishes to infuse new blood into the running game after the Cedric Benson fiasco. Don't expect him to be running it 30 times a game though, K. Jones (a mediocre NFL back) will get his touches while the rookie progesses. Unfortunately, Grossman's still the QB which isn't going to help. Meanwhile, if you drafted Stewart, relax. Both he and Williams have looked great in camp, but Williams has never won a consistent starting job in the league despite numerous opportunities. Stewart is John Fox's type of player and, as par the Huddle, the type of guy he hasn't had since Steven Davis. It's only a matter of time until this dude is the unquestioned starter, if I get him as my #3 RB I'll be happy.
