Scourge
This happens every year leading up to opening week. I have drafted my teams, I have my season tickets, and I am going crazy waiting for the season to start.. I wish I could just go to sleep and wake up for kickoff Thursday night, then go back to sleep until 6:30AM Sunday morning when I head down to The Link to cook up some of Scourge's famous Bacon, Sausage, Egg and Cheese breakfast sandwiches.. Pretty sure I am going this weekend, depends on the Swammettes temperature for basically being a single parent from 8:00AM until 5:00PM 7:00PM the entire day
Cowboyz1
I am so with you on that one. I can't stand it. I find miyself not wanting to work, just watching NFL Network all day. This is the best time of year and Thus. can't come soon enough. I have thought about taking some sleeping pills for the next two days but I am afraid I won't feel so good come Thursday evening. Come on Thur. Come on Sunday. Sunday Morning bacon and egg sandwiches on Colombo hoogie bread, hot sauce and OJ. About Halftime of the Cowboy game, I break down the road and pick up a couple of Tri Tip sandwiches from the local BBQ Joint and settle in for the second half of the Cowboys cleaning up the Browns, then on to ESPN for highlights flipping back and forth to NFL network. Then Sunday Night football............pause...........................ok I need a cigarette and a paper towel. Ok now the Sunday night game with some dip and chips. After that watch all the highlights for the rest of the night sipping on a JnJ as a night cap. Jump on the Huddle and check out all the fantasy scores and injury reports. Finally about 1am roll over and smile. It's back and now the world is right dreaming of double header Monday NIght. Lord thank you for resting on Sunday and giving us football while we relaxed. You said you made us in your own image so Sunday must have been Heavenly way back then. Did the Dinasaurs play jungle ball like those Horses in the commercials? If so, were the linebackers able to eat the running backs? Edited September 2, 2008 by Cowboyz1
