Mike Tomlin Press Conference

I just finished watching Tomlin's Press Conference. It was short, and as is the norm for NFL coaches, he didn't give too much away. Here were some key notes:

- Mendenhall will be the primary kick returner, and his amount of playing time will depend on how he does this week. He didn't say it, but, I think his confidence in Mendenhall has decreased a bit due to the fumbling issues.

- He spoke very highly of Willie Parker and the work he has done. He said that Parker had a phenomenal camp.

- Mewelde Moore will be the primary 3rd down back. He did say that in certain situations that Parker could stay in, but, in most 3rd downs, Moore will enter the game.

- When asked who would be the 4th Wide Receiver, he said that both Dallas Baker and Limas Sweed will continue to get looks at that spot and both will likely flip-flop during those opportunities on Sunday.

- It appears Larry Foote will be the starter opposite Farrior at ILB, but, Tomlin insisted that Timmons will play and will play often.

- When asked about the possibility of using Dennis Dixon in slash-type role, Tomlin did not deny the possibility.

Nothing earth-shattering here, but, I thought I would pass it along.

That guy was AWFUL, and they are essentially admitting to making a mistake bringing him in.
