luke davenport
Not a single carry, and seemingly buried behind Ward. Does he get the rock later in the year?
DMD
Given his success in the playoffs, I was surprised to see them ignore him.
G.K.Trey
he and Ward will divide about 10 carries a week , with Jacobs getting 20 if he stays healthy. He looked great tonite.
theprofessor
With Brandon's running style he won't stay healthy. It might take a few weeks but Bradshaw will make an impact this year.
SuperCharger
With Brandon's running style Safeties won't stay healthy. Fixed Edited September 5, 2008 by SuperCharger
BeeR
Why play him much at all? Jacobs was in a groove and Ward was nice COP catching short passes. "keep the other guys fresh" IMO is well counter-balanced by the it aint broke don't fix it thing.

What... as Wards backup when Jacobs gets hurt...
Flip_Side
Ward looked good out there also.
vonromig
You only need to go to your no. 3 RB when either your 1st or 2nd isn't doing well... or needs a breather due to over running the ball. Neither of these situations were apparent to me. Von
Bronco Billy
Pretty obvious that NY didn't feel the need to attack the edge of the LoS or to throw dump passes to its RBs. They teed it up, went between the tackles, and smashed their way down the field. That's old school football, and that's Coughlin. Bradshaw didn't play because of what NY was able to do to WAS. If NY has less success running inside as the season progresses, Bradshaw ought to see work.
Balzac
30 carries in the game and none went to Bradshaw - methinks people should stop dreaming and do what I did, if possible. Drop Bradshaw immediately and pick up Ward. Recall that Bradshaw only got a shot last year because Ward broke his leg . . . Ward was quite good before going down, so I don't think he's being overtaken on the depth chart anytime soon.
