Czarina
Not sure why, but I'm really looking forward to the J E T S - Miami game. It will be jarring to see Favre and Pennington in the wrong spamshirts for a while. It will also mark the first time in a very long while that I will openly root for the Dolphins. I'd love to see Pennington get a little "so there" on the Jets. Of course, what would be optimum would be if they would beat each other to a bloody pulp. Skip it. I'm sure the kid will have another one next year. HAPPY FOOTBALL SUNDAY EVERYBODY!
Chief Dick
can't believe my brother decided to have his kid's birthday party today at 5. smack dab in the middle of the browns beatdown. doesn't he have an nfl schedule? how selfish am I? I swear, so many parents do this. I told my wife before I married her: we will not nor will we go to any children's birthday parties on a Sunday during football season. You need to kick your brother in the nads when you get there.

whomper
I swear, so many parents do this. I told my wife before I married her: we will not nor will we go to any children's birthday parties on a Sunday during football season. You need to kick your brother in the nads when you get there. Every year my Neighbor has her sons birthday on opening day and every year my wife and kids go and I dont. The husband isnt a big sports guy. One year I did go when we first moved here thinking Ill catch whatever game is on TV for the 1 oclock then watch the 4s at my house. Since this guy doesnt care for sports his pain in the ass daughter was watching Nick while there were 900 kids playing in the basement at this party. Me and one other guy at the party were twitching to watch the game or possibly suplex his daughter. It was the most brutal 3 hours of my life and I have never gone since. The kids mother gives me crap about never going to her parties and I just told her not to have them on sundays. My wife transports party food acroos the steert while I watch the games solo Edited September 7, 2008 by whomper

nopackerfan
I have a good reason to miss most of today's games. I play semi-pro football, and have a game at 3 today. I'll gladly miss watching a game to play the game I love. http://www.wbjunkyarddogs.blogspot.com/ Check out our site if you need something to keep you occupied till kickoff.
