CaP'N GRuNGe
I have to say i'm pleased that I picked up Matt Forte, Chris Johnson, and DeSean Jackson in my dynasty league this year. Any other initial thoughts on the play of the rookies this week?
Kansas State 2000
Felix Jones looked good especially if Barber's ribs are a lingering problem.
gilthorp
even though the lions suck, their rook started to look more comfortable as the game went on. Nothing flashy, but he looks like he can play.
Big Score 1
I know Ryan's game was against the lowly Motor City Kitties & he had the advantage of playing with the lead & a super strong run game, but for a rookie QB, he looked pretty composed & able to read a D. I agree. What I liked most was his command of the offense. If Turner/Norwood can take the heat off of him, they will be a tough beat. Big Score 1
What exactly about his command did you like? Do you have the whisper 2000 or something and hear something I didn't? What exactly did you hear? I think he's talking about what he saw & the poise Ryan demonstrated. The announcers also noted that during Falcons TC & preseason games, Ryan the vets accepted Ryan because of the work he put in. By all acounts Ryan did not exhibit a 1st rounder prima dona attitudet. When he took command of the huddle, he did so because he earned it.

Yes he has looked composed since the pre season. A good start for a rookie.

True, the jump was huge, to get off to a big lead, but he didn't act like a rookie in any way. Helps when your first pass is a 40 yard laser on the money. What exactly did you hear? Maybe you need to put your TV on closed captioning because we all heard it.... Whisper 2000, is that something your boyfriend wears or is it something you use hunting??? Seahawks21
Ryan also impressed me with his post-game comments. He seems to have a very similar attitude to another BC QB, Matt Hasselbeck. Maybe not as playful with the media yet, but he deflects praise, credits his teammates, and thinks before he talks. He spoke in terms of "team" and made some comments that were deeper than the average cliches. Doesn't say anything about him on the field, but shows that he is that type of guy that other players will want to follow.

What exactly did you hear? You, my friend, are a stalker and rapidly becoming a pain in the ass.
