Flip_Side
A spinoff on the other thread. I'd have to say: Philly Falcons (look much improved but it was against the Lions ) Pittsburgh Carolina(Imagine with Smith) Chicago(Looking very good tonight thus far)

gilthorp
Philly...against the Lambs, nope. Falcons...against the Kitnas, nope. Pitt...against the Texans, nope. Bears? Please. Panthers, on the road, without their top WR. Many people predicting the Chargers will go far. That's your answer. Cowboys may be very close to unstoppable this year as well. Bears against Colts, are you serious with that statement? they have a nice running game, the defense looks stellar and Orton is managing the game nicely. Kansas State 2000
Looking at the AFC ... they are in trouble. San Diego, Cleveland and Indy? lose to NFC teams. New England loses Brady. Pittsburgh looks like the only solid team right now ... good thing it's only week one.

Let me say this. An undersized, fast defensive line, is the perfect line for the Bears to match up with. When Kreutz and the two guards have trouble moving the meat in the middle (e.g. Kevin/Pat Williams), they have a difficult time running. They are catching Indy at the right time, I'll say that much. Arlington Argonauts
I'd have to say that of all those you list, at least Chicago's D is looking pretty good even taking into consideration that Manning is still doesn't have his head totally in the game. And I really didn't expect Forte to do as well as he has tonight.

Many people predicting the Chargers will go far. That's your answer. Cowboys may be very close to unstoppable this year as well. I'm not convinced about the Bears being good as much as the Colts being weaker than expected at the moment. The Eagles were playing possibly one of the worst in the NFC at home, that said, they looked real good.

whomper
You could herd turtles through Houston's D... I loved the way Dallas played yesterday. They shut down a high powered O on the road and their O looked very in sync. The Eagles looked very sharp as well. That being said I will enjoy watching the Boys all year but will not drink the Kool aid until they win a playoff game. I think they are very capable but they need to get that monkey off of their back. I love watching a great regular season but IMO it goes in the garbage without performing in the playoffs. All the teams mentioned looked great yesterday, but, in my mind, the Cowboys have emerged as the favorite to win the Super Bowl. Their offensive line looks phenomenal, and they have weapons galore on offense. Their defense looked very solid as well.

detlef
That depends. Do the Pats still get to count Brady in terms of them being the best looking? 'Cause he's pretty dreamy.

Their offensive line looks phenomenal, and they have weapons galore on offense. Their defense looked very solid as well. Sadly, this is true. It's early to be saying this but the Superbowl is the Cowboy's to lose based on the total dismantling of what was supposed to be a decent team. If they do reach the SB, I'll make a point of booking a vacation in Antarctica far from any TV. Seeing that puke prostitute Jerry Jones and his gang of criminals lifting the VL Trophy would be producing.
