Justin Gage fantasy potential

I don't think there's any starting NFL WR that anybody knows less about. Playing in Chicago for years and TEN with VY will do that.

6'4" 215 lbs....Collins as QB....who knows? I think he's definitely the pick over McCareins. Brandon Jones seemed to have potential a few years back, but injury after injury....

I think the bigger question is what will Kerry Collins be able to step in and do here. As he goes, so wil go Gage (or whoever else on TEN)

Jeff Fisher runs a complex system offense. Part of the reason Vince Young has struggled so much is because he's not a system quarterback, he needs a very basic offense with basic routes that give him the ability to use his instincts, improvise and make plays.

Kerry Collins is a system quarterback. He's going to look tall in the pocket and air it out to those WRs if his RBs can open up the passing game for him by creating eight man fronts.

Captain Cocktail is not the most mobile of QB's & with all the missing starters on the Tenn O'line, don't know that that'll allow him to play to the strengths of his game.

However, if the O'line is able to step up their play a little bit & at least give him some sembelance of a pocket hat doesn't immediately collapse, one would think that Gage would be the main beneficiary of the QB switch to Captain Cocktail.

My .02 FWIW
